Sherwood S8000 IV Receiver Beautiful Cosmetic Shape Pulled From Working Console VTG Tubes and all tube shields. Tested everything seems to be working such as Tuning section, the various inputs and channel and all lights. All knobs and POC’s were cleaned may be some a couple knobs that need alittle more cleaning to assure any scratchiness has been eliminated. Even though working I’m not sure when the last servicing was and I would strongly recommend it being fully serviced or restored due to its age. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing.

Dynaco Dynakit Stereo 70. The price includes the Genalex tubes. I’ll negotiate more if the tubes are removed. Therefore, the connection of a loudspeaker to the amplifier does not deteriorate its performance or listening quality.

For sale is a McIntosh MC275 power amplifier that uses 6550, 12AU7, 12AX7, 12AZ7, and 12BH7A tubes. Only essential parts were changed to make sure the amplifier is working as it should. Aside from that, to my knowledge, it has many original capacitors and parts.

The amp is in great condition! All of the tubes look like they should and the metal is pretty clean with only some light pitting on it. See pictures for more and feel free to ask any questions! I’ve also included an invoice from an authorized McIntosh repair shop and the man who worked on it had worked for Mcintosh for 30+ years and knew them very well. The repair was minor and the goal was to have it work for another 40 years. The customer stated fault at the bottom of the document is misleading. There aren’t any problems at all with the power supply. This comment was made to the repair guy because that’s what my co-worker said happened to it. My diagnosis was unfounded and a guess. It ran like a champ when I used it! Also, the owner’s manual included isn’t the original but rather a copy of it that I have used.

Plugged this into the wall and the unit does power on, tubes glow, but not sure if it still functions. Please ensure this is what you’re looking for. Please message for any questions.

Unique PP 6BQ6B Tube Basic Amplifier Fresh Vintage Tubes Triode Sound Not certain of the original designer or builder of this PP 6BQ6B Tube amplifier. 6BQ6B is is an beam-power Pentode designed for application in tube televisions. Amplifier was built on a painted aluminum chassis and has a perforated metal bottom with rubber feet. Front end tubes are vintage 6AB4 and 6CG7/6FQ7- test new on Ampitrex AT1000 tub tested. Output transformers are matching vintage Scott TPA-11-2. 6BQ6B plate caps are from NOS vintage television source. Power supply capacitors are used with full wave bridges. Circuit coupling capacitors are all brown vintage Cornell Dubilier capacitors as found in vintage 60s hi-fi tube amplifiers. Many NOS 1% metal film resistors both vintage military surplus and modern. Circuit has vintage NOS Ohmite Type AB variable potentiometers for setting cathode bias on the individual 6BQ6B output tubes. Construction indicates builder has built has designed and made many tubes amplifiers. Builder may have been professional trained in industrial capacity.. All solder joints are bright. Amplifier is in in working condition with no hum. Power supply is silent. Sound is excellent with excellent base reproduction.
