Dynaco ST-70 with Van Alstine “Ultimate 70″ mods. This is a legendary amplifier and a piece of audio history that’s been modernized by Frank Van Alstine. The mono/stereo switch has been removed, input and speaker jacks have been rewired and replaced, and a heavily upgraded circuit board has been installed. Current output tubes are Psvane EL34B; Cosmetics are 8/10 due to some rubbed off lettering on the chassis. I live in suburban Portland, Oregon. Problems are few, and I’m very pro-active about solving any that might crop up. Please examine the pictures carefully. They are part of the description. This is NOT a new component. As such, it does not come with any guarantee– implied or written. Vintage audio equipment is sensitive and does not travel particularly well. So in rare instances, that which was working 100% at my house may require adjustment or servicing before working equally well at yours. I also listed a vintage Gibson Rhythm King and Magnatone amp.. From the private collection of Ultimate Spinach founding member and bass player Rich Nese. I will be listing some of Rich’s personal vintage music gear, memorabilia and autographed items. This amp is from the 1960′s. It was powered on a few years back but it has mostly been in storage most of it’s life so I would obviously recommend it receiving a complete and very thorough tune up before being used again.
