Up for sale here is this gorgeous vintage power supply. It looks like it could power a tube amplifier, but otherwise you could part it out and use the parts in a tube amplifier. This has an extremely nice homemade wood case, as well as the following parts. Simpson DC Volts Meter (0-500). Weston Model 506 DC Milliamperes Meter (0-300, made for US Signal Corps). 3 Toggle switches (1 front, 2 rear). 6 vintage heavy-duty binding posts (3 black, 3 red). Rear AC jack (no cord, sorry). Huge Sprague Atom capacitor. Thordarson Choke (I think it’s marked C330). UTC H-83 power transformer (looks incredible, rated at 115VAC primary, 6.3V 5A secondary, 5V 2A secondary, and either 670v 130mA or 600v 140ma secondary). A few misc resistors and other parts. Hand-drawn schematic on inside. This is an incredible piece of gear, and I really don’t want to part it out, so I thought I’d put it up as a whole before I cut it up. This is untested and I would probably replace the caps or at least bring them up on a Variac for safety. I will guarantee the power transformer to be good. Please see my pictures for details. Item for sale is a vintage AKAI 1710W 4-track reel-to-reel tape player/recorder with wood case. Unit has a built in amplifier and speakers for stand-alone use, and has outputs for use with a component system. Comes with a detachable front cover. Item has been tested and is still in good working order. This unit has vacuum tubes, so it needs to warm up a minute before it will begin playing. Has not been serviced so should probably be lubed. Case has some nicks (visible in pictures) in it and the from metal plate has some brownish stains mainly around the reels and capstan areas. NOTE: Reels not included. Dimensions: 13.5″ W x 10″ D x 14 H. (Funny, this was advertised as being light weight in the 60′s). For sale is a working Vintage Fisher 400 Receiver Tube Amp with a wood cabinet. I bought this 2 years ago and it has been a great receiver for listening to my vinyl, CDs and digital audio as well. I used it with my Rega RP1 turntable and Klipsch Forte speakers and they sounded great together. There is one little dent in it on the upper top right corner as you can see in one of the pictures.
