Vintage Tube Amp

This is the Vintage Lowery Complete Stereo tube amplifier. What you need to do is just Plug & Play then enjoy it! The out put tubes uses 2 x EL34 tubes for stereo. Preamp uses 2 x 12AX7 tube while the rectify is 5U4 tube As you can see, it is very nice tube amplifier. There are 4 knobs for 2 channels. The first pair of 2 knobs are the volume and the tone for (L) channel while the other pair are the volume and the tone adjustments for (R) channel! There is built-in ON/OFF switch inside knob. This is stand-alone stereo tube amplifier. Please note that this tube amp is about 40/50 year old so nothing is guaranteed! It may be changed/modified for recap, resistors, tubes, wires, etc…. Inputs and outputs terminals are added for convenience. One fuse (1 A) was also added for safety. The handle bar(s) were added on both side too. Please see the photos. You see what you get! Pair of Vintage AMI Tube Monoblock Amplifiers 20 watt very nice working. Each amp has 2- 12AU7A TUBES , 1- 5U4G TUBE, 1- 6L6A TUBE AND One tube that I cannot make out the size of 5u4g. Both of these amps work great. They have been modded to have only the front control for volume. Other controls here are set up not to work. Anyone looking at these should know what they are. Vintage Kamico Electric Guitar Tube Amp. There are dings and scuff to the finish and it was used quite frequently by the previous owner in their playing days. Backstory: This was an estate sale item from our neighbors. He was the only owner and had a few vintage instruments and amps that family did not take. He modified almost all of his gear , and as you can see in the picture, he added a metal plate to block some of the tube heat against the speaker, not sure if the ac cord is original. Unknown if internals are modified. One of the tubes appears to have been replaced as there was a tube similar to the other 2 that was in a bag with the amp. Not sure if the removed tube works as we are leaving this untouched. Powers on, tubes emit a warm glow – see last photo. Volume knob has static with movement so could most likely use a teardown cleaning and tubes, input and intervals checked over. Some static and hum are present – we only had an acoustic to plug in and pushed the volume to the max to test. Normally, this would not leave my hands but alas, my time as a working musician is over and this deserves to be played by someone who will bring new life to it and play it frequently. I have here for sale a Rare 1965 Flot-A-Tone Model 500 tube amp. Flot-A-Tone was very popular with harp and accordion players but this is also an awesome guitar amp. Heres what I know about this amp: This is a 1965 model 500 tube amp. It has its original 12 Jensen model DP-ALNICO-5 Concert Speaker which has a date code of 220505. It looks to be in awesome condition, I did not take the cabinet apart to inspect but I see no damage to the speaker and it does sound awesome. It has 6 total tubes, 3 12AX7 tubes, 2 6V6GT tubes, and 1 5Y3 Tube. Not sure if the tubes are original, but they all seem to be in normal working condition. The cabinet is in wonderful condition, theres really nothing to complain about there which is very cool considering its age. The power cord has been replaced, otherwise everything looks to be original. The face controls: One Power/Tone knob, two volume knobs with two inputs for each volume control, One Tremolo knob (see pic as the paint has nearly worn off). The grill is in excellent condition and does not have any rips or tears. Operational: Amp is in working condition and sounds great. Issues I have dealt with: knobs had become very scratchy so I cleaned all the pots with contact spray and that took care of the problem. I removed the circuit board and cleaned it the best I could with electronics spray cleaner. I did not notice any prior repair/replacements to the unit other than the power cord. The amp exhibits a hum from the far left volume control, increasing in pitch when I turn up the volume. It lessens when I plug in a guitar but is definitely still there. The second volume control does not seem to be producing a hum so thats good. With left volume input turned all the way down Im operating the other volume control and its two inputs with little to no hum. Use of a HumX device does not affect the hum/buzz. I thought maybe one of the tubes was going bad so I swapped/traded tubes but still have the consistent hum/buzz from the far left volume input regardless. I have limited knowledge so I would recommend professional servicing if youd like to fully eliminate this annoying hum. This amp is otherwise in awesome condition for its age, and I think you probably need it! Message me with any queries.
