Amp is Not working. I do not know what all is wrong, or what will need replaced. I was going to try to restore this for myself, but i know nothing about electronics, and came to my senses.. This only gets a very very loud hum from speaker when turned on. When all knobs are full blast you can hear a little bit of guitar under the loud hum. Two knobs are missing. Also the footswitch is missing. That’s extent of my testing and knowledge. I believe this is from 1963 based on the Jensen speaker, the red arrow knobs, and the bark type Tolex. Serial is 770239 What is shown is included. All of my items are untested from estate sales. They have not been cleaned thoroughly, they may have broken, missing, or damaged parts. All items are pre owned and will have imperfections from age/use. I sell as is for parts/repair. Any rulers, tape measures, or other objects used for size or display are not included. The pair of amplifier are all original except speaker terminals and RCA inputs to connect to preamp. These are the most common required upgrades. The amplifier is very good condition for it age, some scratches and rust on transformer. The amplifier is perfect working, very sweet sounding. All tube checked good on my TV7 D/U tube tester. Pretty rare amp by one of the best sound equiptment companies around. This is a fairchild model 219 preamp. The good news, the faceplate is in beautiful shape. The bad news is someone converted this amp to a one channel amp long ago. The amp turns on and HAS output. Unit has been tested. Transformers are united transformers that i dont believe are original. Meter and standby light are not hooked up. This would be a great project to return to original or use as is for that retro steampunk look!!! I cannon confirm what is present or missing on chassis as limited information other than what is present in the pictures as not many of these amplifiers exist anymore. Vintage Bogen Challenger CHA 20 Tube Amplifier Guitar 6V6 amp Complete Working

Up for sale here is this vintage Bogen Challenger CHA 20 tube amplifier, circa 1960 and Made in USA. This is a mono (one-channel) amplifier. This uses two 12AX7 tubes (vintage GE), two 6V6GT output tubes (vintage GE), and a 6AX5GT rectifier tube (Bogen, I think RCA). The 12AX7s and the 6V6 tubes are tested good, and the 6AX5 works, so presumably it’s fine. This is complete with bottom cover, top cage/cover, all knobs, all tubes, and a tube cover (it only uses one). It is in very good condition, with light to moderate overall wear, but does have some rust on/around the power transformer and fuseholder especially. I brought this up on a Variac, and it does play well and sounds good. The “phono” input on the back is a line-level input suitable for a CD player or whatever, and the “MIC” input on the front is presumably a hotter input for a guitar or microphone. This has 4-ohm, 8-ohm, 16-ohm, and 70-v taps on the back, and has regular screw terminals as well as 5-pin sockets for speakers. This does play fine, but I noticed the front can capacitor (next to the rectifier) getting pretty warm. This is working right now, but you’ll need to at least replace the electrolytic caps before regular use. This would be a great winter project, and will be an amazing amp once you’re done with it. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have a number of other tube amplifiers, collectibles, and vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look! Vintage Bell 2325 6L6 Tube Amplifier 1950s Tested Complete Working needs tune-up

Up for sale here is this vintage Bell 2325 mono tube integrated amplifier, probably from the late 1950s and made in USA. This is a fairly rare and very sought-after amplifier. This is tested and is in working condition. It does play music clearly. However, it has some issues and I strongly recommend that you fully rebuild this before use. A previous owner replaced a few of the under-chassis capacitors, but there are many other original capacitors in there that should probably be replaced. There are two loose wires up by the controls, one of which looks like it was supposed to be unused, but the other one may have come loose from something. This is very dusty or sooty or something on lots of areas–I don’t know what that’s about. The top cover has some sort of damage in the middle–if you want to clean it up, you may have to sandblast it and repaint it. The bottom of the power transformer has a dent but I doubt that affects anything. The faceplate and knobs are in nice condition and look good. Please take a close look at my pictures to understand the condition. This is complete with all covers, hardware, tubes, tube covers, and knobs. It uses a 5U4GB rectifier (GE), 2 6L6 output tubes (unmarked, but I think they’re new Russian tubes), a 12AV6 (probably US-made, but I didn’t look), and 3 12AX7 tubes (I think two are Realistic Made in Taiwan and one is USA-made, but I’m not 100% sure). All tubes are included and seem to work fine, but are not guaranteed. This is tested and does play music. When you initially turn it on (which you do by pulling out the Loudness control), there is a hum that I think comes from the transformer. It does not come from the speakers, but I think from the transformer itself, and it doesn’t entirely go away after startup. I do not know if this is normal. This seemed to play fine, but I would STRONGLY recommend you fully rebuild this before use, especially with that big paper can cap in the bottom. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have a number of other vintage tube stereo components, Magic cards, and other vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look! Vintage Bell PM10 Pacemaker 6L6 Tube Amplifier 1950s Tested Working Guitar Amp

Up for sale here is this vintage Bell PM10 Pacemaker single-ended mono tube integrated amplifier, probably from the mid to late 1950s and made in USA. This is a fairly rare and very sought-after amplifier, especially for guitar use. This is tested and is in working condition. It does play music clearly. These are supposed to make killer guitar amps. A previous owner replaced a few of the under-chassis capacitors, but there are still some vintage caps under there, as well as plenty of carbon comp resistors. There are two wires sticking out of the chassis, which would normally go to the pilot light. You could redo this with a pilot light underneath, add a pilot light on top, or just leave it as-is. Physical condition is good–this has light to moderate wear overall but nothing too bad. The faceplate and knobs are in nice condition and look good. This does not have a top cover/cage but is otherwise complete with all hardware, tubes, knobs, and bottom. It uses a 5Y3GT rectifier (JAN National Union), a 6L6GB output tube (Sylvania), a 6AV6 (probably US-made, but I didn’t look), and a 12AX7 tube (Westinghouse Made in Japan). All tubes are included and seem to work fine, but are not guaranteed. The power cord appears to be original and is not cracked or brittle, but it does have a few scrapes here and there, though none are deep enough to be a problem. This is tested and does play music. It sounds good and has no hums or buzzes. There is a super-tiny bit of noise in the background but it is extremely quiet and if you were using this as a guitar amp you certainly wouldn’t notice it. This has two inputs–the old-style screw-down mic input and an RCA input. It has two speaker outputs on the back, both of which give you the option of 4, 8, or 16 ohm taps. You could replace those with 1/4 jacks fairly easily if you wanted. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have a number of other vintage tube stereo components, Magic cards, and other vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look! Luxman MQ60 CUSTOM Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ60 Custom Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1974, this is a true classic tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for few hours and seem to sound fine, no noticeable noise or bad contacts on the knobs and switches. Cosmetically the unit is in nice and reasonable condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and scuff marks here and there with a bit of rust on the metal caging, but nothing too major. I’m including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks. Comes with a copy of Owner’s Manual in Japanese. Please refer to my pictures for any details. NOTE: This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. You will need a stepdown voltage converter for 120V – 220V regions. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Thanks for checking our listing. I do however try to give an honest appraisal for every item listed. It is never my intention to mislead. It appears to be in the condition described above but no guarantees are made. You may need to get professionally qualified technicians to service or repair the item to get it performing to it’s full potential. Servicing and any subsequent repairs that may be required are the buyers responsibility. _gsrx_vers_306 GS 5.3.5 (306).
