Vintage Webcor Tube Amplifier Speaker Model MT4901-1 US Made Tested Working Nice. This speaker has been tested and works. Has wear from age and use as shown. There are scratches and scuffs on the wood veneer as seen in the photos. The back has a plug in for a rca audio plug or can be used via the speaker cables that were installed. Pair Vintage Quad II Tube Amps – working, some restoration and updates. Here’s a rare pair of U. Voltage Quad II tube amps. He is the second owner of the amps, but he never used them after purchasing them. Before powering them up, I checked the wiring and resistor values. After slowly powering up on a Variac, I verified some of the operating voltages against the schematic and they were good. The original owner had replaced some resistors, as well as coupling caps. Additionally, one amp’s electrolytic power supply filter capacitor was replaced with the same microfarad value Solen 630V-rated polypropylene film caps. The other amp has the stock electrolytic filter capacitor underneath. The Jones plug input was replaced with an RCA input jack. The amps are rated at 15 watts per channel and are unsurprisingly considered to be a great match with the Quad ESL57 speakers. Art Dudley did a nice review of a pair he restored in Stereophile magazine, April, 2007. Since it has been my experience that buyers have different ideas about whether they want to use modern production KT66 output tubes e. G, Genalex Gold Lion, JJ, Tung-Sol, etc. The other tubes will be included, as well as the power cords. I took videos of each amp playing on my test bench. Vintage Dynakit series 70 tube Amplifier. A very clean cage and a well-cared-for piece of equipment. The Amp works as i see all tubes light up except one and that one receives power as it gets hot. It may just need a new tube and work perfectly or may need a little service i can’t really say. The person i bought it from was the original owner and was as meticulous and clean as could be. I haven’t cleaned the units outside but i think it could be cleaned to look like new from the outside if you wish. A wonderful piece of our audio history to enjoy. 1960′s Fisher 500-B Stereo Tube Receiver in excellent working condition. Plays loud and clean on both channels with great fidelity. Great matching construction set of vintage 7591 tubes, 3 test very good to NOS range, 1 a bit lower, but biasing up fine. Just serviced by my technician. Cleaned all controls & switches. Aligned FM Tuner and MPX Front End. Reduced dial cord tension, lubed tuning. Adjusted Output Bias Voltage. Fair Faceplate and Cosmetics. Has some wear a shown. See all pictures for further description. Very good shape for age but has minor scratches, marks, imperfections etc. Not for total neophytes. Vintage gear requires some knowledge. The item is in Good cosmetic and working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use. One of the bottom legs is missing. Power indicator LED is nonfunctional. All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. The insides were cleaned out, but there is still some dust evident. Some corrosion is present on the wire type outputs. I was able to power on the device with the attached power cord. I was able to send an audio signal to the RCA inputs with in-house media (not included). The wire-type outputs were tested working with in-house speaker (not included). I was able to hear crisp, clear audio. I was able to re-bias the tubes that are included. The tubes have been calibrated. Product is in working condition. No accessories are included. Power: 45 watts per channel RMS both channels driven into 8 ohms. From 30Hz to 15KHz at no more than 1% total harmonic distortion or. Sensitivity: 750 mv to full power.
