Vintage Philips Stereo Tube Amplifier AG9016. Made in the Netherlands by Philips in 1964. This amplifier is in good technical condition for its age, have a look at the pictures. All original Philips Miniwatt tubes. This amplifier has been tested on the DIN port, and is in working condition. Really nice stereo sound (I can send a recording on request). Wall-voltage adjustable : 110 127 220 240 volt AC. The metal housing could use a new painting did it’s job protecting the inside!!! Small chip at one of the knobs (see the photos). Up for sale, a 1969 Ampeg AC-12 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Just given a clean bill of health by our in-house techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, this Ampeg boasts an all-tube 20 watt circuit in an open-back 1×12 enclosure. An uncommon amp designed by Ampeg to appeal to accordion players (but excellent for guitar) and available for a very short span of years, the AC-12 was virtually identical to its later version the GU-12, which was used by the Rolling Stones on Exile on Main Street. With simple Volume and Tone knobs in addition to controls for the built-in Tremolo and Reverb, the AC-12 is a straightforward, pure sounding amp with robust cleans and some nice overdriven grind when dimed out. The circuit is very original, with stock transformers and CTS pots that date to the 50th week of 1969. The faceplate retains all of the original knobs and the majority of the blue silkscreen graphics, while the polished chrome back of the chassis notes the amp’s Linden, NJ manufacture. The amp boasts a complete vintage tube set, with the original Ampeg-branded 7591 power tubes and preamp tubes from the likes of RCA and Sylvania. The amp has been fitted with an Oaktron ceramic magnet 12 speaker which easily handles the AC-12′s 20 all tube watts and keeps the sound tight and full. The original smooth black tolex and aged silver sparkle grillcloth are intact, with original corners and handle caps present too. Both back panels are intact and the enclosure shows some light wear from the past half century, but overall has weathered the decades in style. For sale is a very nice custom Magnavox 9300 Series Tube Amplifier. Several modifications and upgrades including. RCA inputs in the rear. Covers on output supplies (they just rest on the chassis and are not mounted). Power switch on front. Speaker jacks in rear. Power light / Green colored jewel light. Sturdy wooden base with handles. Four (4) tubes across the back are nice Mullard tubes. No trouble powering a set of large Advents or similar type of period speaker. If you only have one source, you could plug it right in to the amplifier and avoid the use of a pre-amp. I tested with both a pre-amp and a reel to reel player direct and the sound was the same. Note, you’ll want something with a volume control as there’s no volume control on the amp. This was recently serviced and is fully operational. Just changed the light bulb with a new bayonet style bulb. Re-soldered the right input connector. Repainted the wooden base in gloss black and touched up the Berry-colored chassis. Closest color match would be Revlon Baby Berry (I used nail polish to touch up). Amplifier will be professionally packaged to ensure a safe arrival. It will stay attached to the board, but all of the tubes and covers will be removed and packaged separately to avoid any breakage. 2 Mono Blocks of Scott 240 tube amp power. Very close serial numbers: # 9918 and # 9928. Both were completely restored. One of the mono blocks acquired some water damage along the front skirt. But it has been dosed with rust neutralizer. These were made in the mid 50′s when mono was the only rage. So, to get a pair together with such close serial numbers is unheard of. Up for sale, a 1958 Premier model 76 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Produced by Multivox-Premier in New York during the golden age of the electric guitar, the 76 model was a revolutionary for its time two-piece suitcase design. This two-channel amp is extremely original and also fully serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar to ensure optimal reliability and tone. Via the original Jensen field coil F12Q speaker, this amp delivers w. Arm, polite cleans with a bit of spank, but where the amp really thrives is when the Volume and Tone controls are dimed out. The overdrive this amp can deliver is astounding, with h. Uge saturated crunch that barks and spits with the best. The low end stays tight and the distortion is rich and dynamic. As an added bonus, the second channel features a tremolo circuit which. Goes quickly from subtle to full on square wave chop and cut, stuttering like few tremolo circuits can when you turn up the Intensity knob. The circuit retains the original transformers and all of the original pots as well, with a true point-to-point wired design. Both the preamp and power amp have been expertly recapped as necessary, leaving original components whenever possible and only swapping components when they ceased to function. The two halves of the amp connect with the original umbilical cable, and the original two-prong power cable is also intact. The Jensen speaker has a flawless deep green frame, original cone, and date code from early 1958. Cosmetically, the amp is extremely clean, with a polished brass faceplate with immaculate silkscreen graphics and a complete set of original (and colorful) bakelite knobs. The faux woodgrain and mustard covering on the amp is quite a bit more fragile than Fender tolex or even tweed, yet has remained completely intact along with the original black rubber feet and leather handle. 1979 Marshall 2104 JMP Amplifier. Rare Marshall 2×12 Combo with original transformers and speakers. It was recently serviced by Steve Hunter (Athens, GA), and has new Siemens EL-35 tubes. The amp is pure Marshall overdrive! It has the Hi & Lo Gain outputs. The original checkerboard grill cloth has a few minor tears, as shown in the photos.
