Both front-panel and rear-panel control knobs are in fantastic condition! All input and output jacks are as well. Tolex is free of rips or tears and is in terrific shape! Overall condition is excellent! The only thing missing is a rear panel, which was never made for this amp as you can tell since there are no screw holes on the back. WORKING CONDITION: Excellent- This amp works wonderfully, yielding all manner of bright cleans and ripping distortion with incredible sensitivity to playing dynamics. This is an awesome little Silvertone model 1430 guitar amp! I believe it is from the early’50s, before Sears put the rubber/plastic handle and changed the nameplate. This thing is so cool! Perfect for intimate shows or studio recording for that real vintage sound! It powers right on and plays well; however there is a light hum in it. Likely an easy fix by a technician. Small tear on the top right front corner. 14″ tall, 13″ across, and 7-1/4 deep. The speaker in it is 6 in diameter. Vintage AMPEG V4 100 Watt Tube Amp Head. Amp head is for PARTS OR REPAIR Missing 2 tubes and the screws for the back cover. Amp power cord has had a poor repair as it appears to be just taped together near the plug. I got this Amp as you see it and have not had it checked out but the last owner said it blows the fuse immediately after powering it on. It appears to be made about 1964. All the tubes are Amperex and it uses two uses ultra quiet 6287/EF86 tubes in the pre-amp and ECC82/12AU7 as the output tube with a 6X4 rectifier tube. It has both the input and output transformers. It can be set for either 50 or 250 ohms input, and the output for 250 or 600 ohms. It has an interstage volume control and can be used with ribbon mics as it has 81 db of gain. The gain is adjustable with the interstage volume control on the front. In size it is roughly 11 by 5 3/4 by 6 inches tall includng the mounting flanges and control This has not been tested and may require capacitor replacement due to age deterioration, for peak performance. It’s the highest quality pre-amplifier that I have encountered, and should be put to use. Please see my other listings for more interesting radio/audio/phono items and tubes. Luxman MQ80 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ80 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1974, this is a true classic CSPP tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for few hours and seem to sound fine, no noticeable noise or bad contacts on the knobs and connectors. This one has USB fan attached on the rear of the metal cage as pictured. Cosmetically the unit is in very nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear marks and minor scuffs here and there, but nothing major. The metal caging is in nice condition too. I’m including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks. Comes with power cable. Please refer to my pictures for any details.
