Works and sounds incredible! Here’s The Run Down. This is an Amazing Sounding 100 Watt Soldano USA Desiged Tube Guitar Combo Amp. That’s in great shape overall for a 26+/- year old amp. This amp has been used by me, operates/sounds perfectly and without. Will shake your neighbors walls. I run this through a 4×12 cab and its nothing less than unbelievable! There will be marks scuffs and other flaws since it is pre owned, but no damage or signs of abuse. It is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). One knob is missing on the rear ohm adjustment, but it easily turns with your fingers and a replacement is only a few bucks. This amp appears all original. Hand built in the USA, T100 amps features four or 6L6 power tubes and seven 12ax7 preamp tubes. A push pull knob or foot switch selects between a Fender like clean channel with bright switch and a Soldano like high gain preamp section. This amps is factory equipped with a Celestion G12-100 watt 8ohm speaker but can handle anywhere from 4 to 16 ohm cabinets. The vintage 1964 Vox AC30 is universally considered one of the most legendary in holy grail amplifiers from the past 50 years – a true British icon! The AC-30 helped define the sound of the British invasion, and remains one of Vox’s most important models – for iconic tone reference.. You can listen to the likes of Brian May, Tom Petty, Jimmy Page & Rory Gallagher (to name a few). This particular amp sounds nothing short of spectacular, it chimes and barks with the incredibly dynamic, touch sensitive responsiveness, smooth tube saturation and glassy clarity that has made this amp one of the most sought after of all time. An additional volume knob has been added internally (to the left of the 1st speaker), which acts as a really cool attenuation feature for when you want those massive tones.. This unit is in very good condition for it’s 50+ years of life, with various minor wear & tear to the exterior including a few scuffs that have been very neatly patched up professionally. The combo appears mostly all original (including transformers), except from 2 upgraded Celestion G12s-50 speakers & a changed logo / tone knob along with potentially changed minor service components. There’s no footswitch included in the sale & I believe the trem/vib effect is not quite functioning right (to my ears) – it’s either on (fast) or off & the speed knob doesn’t currently change the speed.. Though the footswitch might simply be required for this feature to function correctly. This unit is in exceptional cosmetic condition, super clean all around. The cover is in excellent shape as well with no major cosmetic flaws anywhere to be seen. KT-66 vacuum tubes installed. The sound is smooth, warm, and detailed. This unit is in fair cosmetic condition with several scratches and blemishes throughout. Unit does not come with tubes…. Untested Fisher 400 receiver for parts or repair. Output transformers shown being tested. They are being tested in inductance, (Henrys) unit is in decent shape but could use some love. Circuit looks pretty original with exception of a couple resistors. Main fuse was not blown and the power switch clicks and feels like it works good. Faceplate is not bad with only a couple small dings. Has a broken speaker switch that will need to be replaced. The unit does not come with any tubes but the ones you see in the pics. This is a fine piece of history that’s only going up in value from here.
