Might need a power switch and has some static intermittent , might need a few caps… Dropped the price 400.00 for this reason… This is a Beautiful National Amplifier. The amp needed was professionally serviced and is in very good. This has the 2 X 5881 Power tubes… Sounds killer with the dual Oliptical Rola Speakers.. This is a 2 channel… The mic side has more power. The single tone is live on both channels… The amp was restored with a beautiful Tweed tolex… And is a two tone…. The brown tolex is original.. The amp sounds amazing. You have to hear it to understand… Very melodic tones make a guitar or Harmonica sing…. Grill cloth has a small tear.. 1968 Ampeg Jet J12 Combo Amp. You dont see these every day. Made between 1968 and 1970, these silver and black Jets are real sleepers. Produced alongside the V series amps made legendary by the Rolling Stones, these amps can get you there without shattering windows or breaking your back. This unit here dates from 1968. A great house amp, but totally usable for small gigs. She really barks and growls as you push the volume. The original, blown CTS speaker has been replaced with an excellent sounding Weber Alnico Classic 12S, a very vintage Jensen sounding speaker. Power tubes were replaced about a month ago with new Electro Harmonix 7591A. This is a really good sounding amp. I hate to part with itits been in my stable for over a decade. But bills must be paid.. Get it and rock the fck out. Get your Exile on Main Street on! I do NOT build from kits.
