Awesome sounding Ampeg Gemini II G-15 in great condition. Original 15 Jensen speaker sounds great and has a beautiful, deep reverb. Tolex is still in good shape with only minor wear. This is one of my favorite sounding Ampeg amps for guitar, but sounds great with bass as well due to the 15 speaker. Original handle has been replaced with a new one, but the damaged original will be included. Reverb sometimes takes a few minutes to work until the tubes have warmed up. 1968 Vintage Carlsbro PA60r that is ready to rock for another 50 years!! This guy came straight to us from the UK. Amp has gotten the full service of all new cap job, iec plug conversion, with new JJ, Ness preamp tubes and JJ EL34 power tubes. All biased and with maybe 24hrs of run time. This amp is pretty much a JTM45 meets Hiwatt. Just look at that wax paper lay down power transformer!! The tone is very full. Not to bright or sharp sounding. Amp is very clean sounding and breaks up at about 3/4 volume. Which is window shatter volume. I was messing around and A/B switched from 1 channel all natural amp gain then switched and ran through a ADA MP1 into one of the other amp input channels, sounded awesome. This thing has 4 channel that you can play with! The reverb tank was removed at some time but one can be added very easily with the rca cables up through the chassis. Ill answer any question to the best of my knowledge. These amps are rare to find stateside so dont miss your chance to own some British valve history. Up for sale, a 1979 Music Man. 112 in excellent, original condition and perfect working order. Launched in 1975, Music Man was founded by former Fender Plant Manager Forrest White, former Fender Sales Rep Tom Walker, and Leo Fender himself, with their very first product being an amplifier known as the “Sixty Five”. Being a hybrid affair, this amp matches a solid state preamp to an all tube power section, in this case EL-34s, providing plenty of headroom, with the warmth and fullness of a tube power section that can get as gritty as you want when the tubes are cooking! Making that easier, the amp features a Hi/Lo power switch, which actually works differently than most in that it’s not a 1/2 power switch, but rather a control for how much plate voltage the power tubes see, giving you control over the clean headroom where “Lo” is similar to a typical amp, and “Hi” sends a colder bias to the tubes. Tonally, this amp is very much in Fender territory with bold, sparkley cleans and dynamic grit, and reminds us very much of a Pro Reverb with a brighter reverb and very unique tremolo, both of which are footswitchable. A two channel amp, the Sixty Five offers plenty of options for tone sculpting with both channels including Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass knobs as well as a Deep switch for filtering the low end when needed. The second channel boasts a Reverb knob, and Intensity and Speed knobs for the tremolo, as well as a Master Volume which governs both channels for achieving saturation at an appropriate volume for any given gig or studio situation. This Music Man sports the original Eminence-built, Music Man-branded, ceramic magnet speaker which has a smooth tonal response and chime that’s right at home in a Fender-style amp. The circuit is clean and essentially untouched, with original tone caps in the preamp and Schumacher transformers that date to’79. The original CTS pots date to the 41st week of 1979. The tubes are a pair of properly biased USA-made Sylvania EL-34s that have plenty of life left. Cosmetically, this amp is very clean, with original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth. Naturally, there are a few minor scuffs and light wear on the edges of the enclosure, but overall this is a very well-kept vintage Music Man. Up for sale, a 1951 Oahu Chicago Model 51, recently serviced and ready for stage and studio use. This early Oahu amp was manufactured in Chicago by the parent company, Valco, who made amps under the National, Supro, and Gretsch brands, among others. Powered by a pair of 6V6 tubes and voiced through a modern Jensen 10″ alnico speaker, there’s a midrange richness and detail to the breakup of these amps that is signature “Valco tone. The bloom, light compression, and creamy nature of the sound reacts well with a variety of guitar pickups and makes this amp a perfect secret weapon for studio sessions, and it really shines with a microphone in front of it. The circuit has been thoroughly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, with new Mallory caps in the preamp where necessary, Sprague Atom filter caps, and a new three-prong power cable. The original Stackpole pots are intact, along with the original transformers. Mounted to the back panel, an external speaker jack has been installed, with an on/off switch to engage or disengage the internal speaker as needed. In addition to the new Jensen speaker, the original Rola speaker is also included. The amp retains the majority of the original white covering, with the exception of the bottom and left side of the enclosure. The black segmented grillcloth is intact and the metal “Oahu” badge is present, along with the original molded handle.
