Fender 65 Twin Reverb Reissue from July of 1994. In good condition, has some wear but overall pretty clean. Has added presence control. Just came back from amp tech and was gone over thoroughly. This is the Masco 17N tube amplifier made famous by Little Walter. See photo of him playing through a 17N, although Little Walter played through many different models of Masco PA amps. It was restored to the original specifications. A schematic will be included. A few small changes were made to the circuit. Two audio coupling capacitors off the input jack were increased in value from. 01uf to allow for more bass frequencies. Output jacks were converted to 1/4 inch jacks and a line out was installed. A new power resistor that is period correct was installed in place of the old string resistor. New capacitors were installed in place of the old ones using the same specifications. I used good quality components like paper in oil glass sealed Russian military coupling capacitors, mojotone caps, sprague atoms and orange drops. The amplifier works and I have used it for both practice and gigs. They aren’t making these amps anymore. I enjoyed it while I had it and it is a very cool amp and a collectible. Pair SIEMENS Klangfilm Tube amplifier Smf verst. 4b EL84 vintage audio amps. Here we have a pair = 2 units of rare tube amplifiers made by SIEMENS in the 1950 ies. They are the most favorite type : Smf verst. 4b with EL84 in Se mode and 2 x EF40 in pre amplifier section. These amplifiers were modified with stronger power supplies and direct connection of RCA plugs at the back of both amps. All unimportant switches and treble / bass controls were shut down – this allows ultra linear sounding. Source can be connect with RCA plug speaker connect are banana plugs , standard. Both units are technically restored and play powerfull.
