Fantastic HH SCOTT 208 power amplifier that sounds amazing. It’s in perfect working condition and come with a full set of strong tubes. All original transformers are still in place. Many of the capacitors are original. The electrolytics were replaced with caps as close to the original value as possible. The output tube coupling caps were changed to pio Russian caps (original value). The bridge rectifier was replaced with a diode. A few out of spec resistors were replaced but most of the originals remain. The only modification was the addition of an in-rush limiter to lower the voltage a bit and help prolong the life of the tubes. Everything else was left the way HH Scott intended it to be. The bias can be easily checked and adjusted with a multimeter through the test point and pots on top of the amp. Tubes included are a strong set of 7591A Electro-Harmonix output tubes. 1 GE 5AR4, and 2 US 6U8A tubes. Please see the pictures for cosmetic condition, some lettering is missing. 32 watts per channel. Dual-level inputs: (1.5 & 2.5 volts) For me it worked best with a tube preamp. It’s worked perfectly for me. If you have any questions on using a tube amplifier please ask. They aren’t difficult to use, but there are some general rules that need to be followed to avoid potential damage to the amp. Will be packed very well with the tubes packed separately. This is a rare Vintage Supro Valco tube guitar amplifier. The serial number is V15025. It does work but there is some static and crackling. It is also missing the volume knob, and the power switch is pushed into the chassis. The power cord does have cracking in it so that would need to be replaced. The leather handle is still intact but has the metal wire sticking out. Overall the amp is well used and will require restoration to get back to 100%. This is a very rare and neat old amplifier. This Fender Bronco Tube Amp is in great shape for its age; this is the same as a Vibro Champ, the only difference is the front metal plate. It is a 1971 manufactured combo amp: The chassis is stamped June 14, 1971. The Speaker is an Oxford, dated the 18th week of 1971 (4657118). The output transformer is dated 6th week of 1971 (606-1-06). The power transformer is dated the 20th week of 1971 (606-1-20). The 2 12AX7 preamp tubes seem to be replacements from original, but the 6V6 output and the 5Y3 rectifier tube appear to be original (in my opinion). The only flaws are some pitting in the metal amp straps and the handle metal end caps. There is also an area where the tolex is separated on the top corner (shown in the last picture). The amp sounds great with an electric guitar, all controls work and it’s quiet when idling. The pots and tube sockets were treated with contact cleaner (spray). The serial number is: A30098. The grille cloth backing is slightly warped; look at the lower right corner of the amp in the first picture. This could probably be fixed by attaching the corner better staples? Since 2 tubes (the 12AX7′s) have been replaced from originals, this is considered to be 99% original. Up for sale, a 1986 Mesa Boogie Mark III “Red Stripe” Simul-Class head and matching 4×12 speaker cabinet in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The third iteration of the Mark III’s evolution, this long box Mesa head features original white bronco tolex and the tell-tale red mark on the back of the chassis above the power cable noting the factory tweaks made to this particular Mesa, namely that the lead mode circuitry is almost identical to the IIC+, and some minor component substitutions in preamp also bring it closer to the IIC+. Everything from bold cleans to raw, aggressive overdrive to thick crunch is available from the Mark III with every push pull option and trick in the book for maximum versatility and tonal tweakage. The circuit is extremely original, professionally recapped with Sprague Atom filter caps as needed and retaining the original Schumacher transformers which date to’86, along with the stock fan and reverb pan. The amp is stocked with a matched quad of Sovtek 5881 (6L6GC) power tubes with five EH preamp tubes. The speaker cabinet is loaded with the original quad of Electro Voice 12L heavy duty speakers with extremely clean frames and original cones. Cosmetically, this is a clean and complete set, and the head retains all original knobs and slider tips. The white bronco tolex shows only minor wear on the enclosure edges, and the original hardware and faceplate are very well-kept. Both original footswitches are included. This is a late 60s Sears 5XL, aka the model 1420. Uses 3 tubes, a 12au6 for preamp, 50c5 for power, and a 35w4 as a rectifier. This is one of 7 I’ve owned – they’re light, cheap, easy to fix, easy to mod, and still manage to sound pretty good. I usually add an isolation transformer, a fuse, and a grounded cord, but this one is still unmolested. All I did was replace the resistors and caps that were out of spec. I did mark the neutral side of the plug for extra safety, but I wouldn’t play this one while standing in a bathtub. Tolex on the case is still in okay shape. There’s some dried tape residue on the cab, so old it won’t come off. These are fun amps, especially if you like to carry them to practice or gigs — you don’t need a friend with a van, Or even a friend.
