1967 Fender Vibro Champ Vintage Blackface 1×8 Combo Tube Amp AA764 Electric Guitar Amplifier in overall excellent condition for its age. It appears to be all original except for the replaced tubes. The transformers and pots all date to 1966. Everything works perfectly with zero issues. The amp has zero hum and all controls have zero scratchiness. The tube tremolo works and sounds great. The only noticeable blemish is a small slit in the front grill cover. There are some typical tiny scuff marks throughout, but nothing major. This amp still has the two-print power cord. The service history is not known. Does not include any accessories. The Blackface Fender Vibro Champ was introduced in 1964 to build upon the success of the standard Champ Amp and ran until 1968, when cosmetic and circuit changes brought forth the “drip edge” Silverface amps. Still a Champ at heart, the Vibro Champ added a tube tremolo circuit with controls for Speed and Intensity, making this classic recording amp even more versatile without sacrificing any of the original tone. 1959 I believe Ampeg Jet Guitar Tube Amplifier that has been looked over by technician who replaced tubes and installed 3 prong safety power cord. Green light as well. Cabinet has some tears and worn parts in the tolex, and some lifting at the bottom right side. Looks like a new speaker was put in at some point in time. AS SHOWN AS STATED. Vintage Dynaco ST-70 Dynakit Stereo 70 Tube Power Amplifier EL34 HIFI Amp ST70. This is working, 2 new switches were just replaced. Brought up on a variac, tested and working. In very nice condition. Comes with cage, all tubes etc. Out of a collection of Vintage Tube, Solid State and rare electronics. David Hafler and Ed Laurent founded the Dyna Company (later Dynaco) with the intention of not only producing transformers, but high-quality audio circuitry. The company was incorporated in October 1955, with business premises located at 617 N. 41st St in Philadelphia. Dynacos first product was the Mk. II 50-watt power amplifier. Available as a kit or pre assembled unit, the Mk. III amplifier, which produced 60 watts. Dynaco continued to build both mono and stereo amplifiers until 1977. The companys final contribution to vacuum tube technology was the massive Mk. VI mono power amplifier of 1976, which produced 120 watts (continuous). Dynaco is best remembered for its highly regarded vacuum tube stereo amplifier, the Stereo 70 (ST-70). Introduced in 1959, the ST-70 was available as a kit (Dynakit) intended for assembly by the purchaser or as a complete factory-wired unit (Dynaco). The ST-70 used four EL34 output tubes, one GZ34/5AR4 rectifier tube, two 7199 input (driver) tubes, two output transformers, one power transformer, and a pre-assembled printed circuit board (PCB) containing the driver circuit. It produced 35 watts per channel. The driver circuit had a single 7199 pentode/triode tube per channel, and used the driver tube to handle both voltage amplification and phase splitting. The output transformers are an ultra linear design, whereby part of the primary winding is fed back to the output tubes screen grid. This design reduced distortion and improved audio quality. A masterpiece of efficient circuit design, the ST-70 provided reliable, high-quality audio amplification at an affordable price. The popularity of the ST-70 contributed more than any other single product to continuing consumer interest in tube-based stereo amplifiers at a time of increasing market dominance by solid state audio products. Because of its excellent value for cost, Dynaco tube amplifiers were often referred to as the poor mans McIntosh.
