Late 1940s Masco MA-25PN. Originally a Public Address System. Now re-purposed into a fully restored amplifier. All components have been tested/replaced if out of spec, and ran this amp wide open for hours. Tubes have all been tested and ran for audio/instrument clarity. 30 Watts Class A. Original Output, Replaced Power with Transformer from Era. Sounds amazing, tuned, ready to inspire! Original Knobs and Paint. Amp has been altered from it’s original wiring circuit. We jumper all channels as one. This mod allows you complete access to all of the channels if you like, or just one at a time. They all sound slightly different. 6J7 Preamp (4), one for each channel. Russian 6SL7 Phase (1), bass and treble controls. 5U4 Single Rectified (1). New grounded cord and plug. 1/4″ stereo input, 1/4″ mono outputs in 4,8,16, ohm operation. WORKS ON 117 VAC. MOST OF THE RESISTORS AND CAPACITORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE ORIGINAL BIG ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR IS STILL IN THE CHASSIS BUT NOT IN THE CIRCUIT, IT WAS LEFT IN FOR COSMETIC REASONS ONLY. TUBE SOCKETS ARE CERAMIC. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IF YOU WISH IS INSTALL A NICE WOOD BASE FOR IT. THERE MIGHT BE A LOW LEVEL HUM BECAUSE OF AGE OF AMPLIFIER OR TUBES. This is a very rare piece of vintage audio equipment. The tag on the bottom indicates it was made in the USA, but I could not determine the date of manufacture. If you have more information, please message me and let me know. I know these old tube amps can be sensitive, so I just left it alone and did not attempt to test it.
