This is a great sounding amp. I believe it to be about 35W – from the 1950s made in NJ and clearly marked SANO. Condition on this is pretty impeccable, rarely do they look this good at this age. The tone – is killer. This is not your everyday Amp. Check out the video we posted – that is thru the Guitar input – almost Dimed. A nice clean cushion for any kind of music that demands it – fantastic pedal platform. The video features a 90T-Style Guitar, single coil bridge then switches to a P90 at about the 38 second mark. A picture can speak 1,000 words. Everything in the photos and description is what you will receive. And nobody wants that. If you have a resale. Please let us know prior to paying. Pair Vintage Quad II Tube Amps – working, some restoration and updates. Here’s a rare pair of U. Voltage Quad II tube amps. He is the second owner of the amps, but he never used them after purchasing them. Before powering them up, I checked the wiring and resistor values. After slowly powering up on a Variac, I verified some of the operating voltages against the schematic and they were good. The original owner had replaced some resistors, as well as coupling caps. Additionally, one amp’s electrolytic power supply filter capacitor was replaced with the same microfarad value Solen 630V-rated polypropylene film caps. The other amp has the stock electrolytic filter capacitor underneath. The Jones plug input was replaced with an RCA input jack. The amps are rated at 15 watts per channel and are unsurprisingly considered to be a great match with the Quad ESL57 speakers. Art Dudley did a nice review of a pair he restored in Stereophile magazine, April, 2007. Since it has been my experience that buyers have different ideas about whether they want to use modern production KT66 output tubes e. G, Genalex Gold Lion, JJ, Tung-Sol, etc. The other tubes will be included, as well as the power cords. I took videos of each amp playing on my test bench. Contact me and I can possibly send them to you. However, my listing is certainly better than ones that are untested.
