DuKane 1A435A 6CD6 12au7 Vintage Vacuum Tube Amplifier Western Electric Ks Era. As found bench tested to ensure the iron is good. Needs tubes and a service. Great shape for its age and should be rather easy to service and recap. These were built when western electric was having dukane build ks amplifiers for them. Very high quality killer vintage amplifier. As is for parts. Guaranteed good tested iron.
Item Description Condition is good. Since it is a used item, it is in good condition overall, although there are some damages and stains. The volume knob was bent. When powered on, I could hear faint music from the tweeter, but only noise from the woofer section. The tubes themselves glow red, so I think they are still usable. Thank you for your understanding.
Vintage 1961 Harmony H306A, small tube amp combo, used. An oldy but goodie amp from the very early 60′s. Power tubes: 6V6GT x 2. Pre-amp tubes: 12AX7, 12AX7, 6SH7 (tremolo). Power Transformer: Tranco #4670 August 1961. Output transformer: Tranco #3427 August 1961. Speaker: Jensen C12R Date code: 220142 (Jensen 1961, 42nd week). Original cone, in excellent condition. Pots: Original 304-61xx (Stackpole, date to 1961). Tremolo is smooth and works great. Tremolo does function without using a footswitch. I do NOT have the footswitch, but any single plug one will work. The footswitch jack functions correctly. Original feet, carrying handle & control knobs. Grill cloth appears to have been changed. The grill cloth is in average condition for its age. It has recently been serviced to include the filter caps. All pots and jacks have been flush and lubed with Deoxit. The 2 prong ac cord has been upgraded to a new 3 prong cord. The “death cap” has been deleted. A new custom fitted vinyl cover is included. US ADDRESSES WITHIN THE LOWER 48 STATES ONLY! Up for sale, a 1964 Fender Bassman in perfect working order. The last iteration of the Brown Panel-era “Piggyback” Bassman with smooth blonde tolex and gold sparkle grillcloth, this Fender drives two Sovtek 5881 (6L6GC) power tubes for 40 powerful watts of pure tube power. Like the Tweed amps that preceded it, the Brown Panel circuits respond well to picking dynamics with Fender’s hi-fi, glassy clean tones. The EQ controls have a huge sweep, and after around 5 on the Volume dial, the amp cascades into rich tube overdrive that compresses noticeably and is particularly roaring and thick. It’s the kind of natural tube saturation that only comes from pushing a well-designed Fender circuit to its limit. A Pre-CBS Fender Blonde Bassman was used on more Beatles recording sessions than the Vox AC30, was a particular favorite of Pete Townshend, and has become the amp forever linked with Brian Setzer’s classic Rockabilly tones. It’s hard to beat this particular Bassman circuit for a tone that bridges the gap between the dynamic grit of the Tweed circuits and the shimmery cleans of the Black Panel line. The circuit is extremely original and professionally serviced with just a couple new smaller electrolytics in the preamp and a modern three-prong power cable. All of the famed blue molded Ajax capacitors are intact in the preamp, an essential part of the sweet, musical character of Fender’s Brown Panel circuits. With stock Stackpole pots, carbon comp resistors, and cloth-covered leads. All of the Schumacher-made transformers are intact, with date codes from early 1964. The tube chart is intact inside the head cabinet. The tube complement includes a pair of Sovtek power tubes that have been properly biased, and the preamp tubes consist of a combination of vintage and modern valves. The head retains the original smooth blonde tolex and gold sparkle grillcloth, a cosmetic combination only seen in early 1964. The tolex exhibits some various marks commensurate with age, with a couple spots of light staining where sap in the knots of the pine cabinet has made its way through the tolex, and some cigarette burns on top. The raised Fender logo on the head is original, and the black faceplate retains its full set of cream barrel knobs. The hardware includes the original piggyback clip bars, nickel corners, sphinx glides, and handle.

Two channels, one Top-Boosted and one for Rhythm. Four inputs (high and low sensitivity per channel) are ideal for cross-patching, either for channel blending or amplifier ganging. The pre-amp section is simple and straight ahead, with only enough gain to drive the output stage to full saturation. At maximum output, the harmonic content is smooth and rich and the feel is punchy and full. Reducing the output produces a pure, clean tone.
