The SOAK control takes you from from chiming clean tones with rich midrange presence to a filling upper-midrange snarl that defines its American “Tweed” sound. The modern vintage design incorporates three 12AX7 preamp and two EL84 valves. The power amp in its normal “PENTODE” mode delivers a strident 16 watts RMS of valve output power. Switching to the “TRIODE” mode produces 5 watts of incredibly sweet spongy harmonics, ideal for both mic’d recording and small stage rigs. The sound possibilities are only limited by your fingers and imagination! Output: 16 watts / 5 Watts, Pentode / Triode into 8ohms. 3x 12AX7 Preamp Tubes, 2x EL84 Power Tubes. 1 Meg Passive tone controls for broad adjustment range. Rare Vintage Kitty Hawk M1 100 watt amp head. Made in Germany in the 80s. The 8 ohm output does not work. There is a small push button that has been added right above the 8 ohm output. Maybe this has something to do with it. Also, one of the control knobs has been knocked off along with the shaft of the pot. Anyway, the amp sounds awesome and works great otherwise.
