This is a vintage David Bogen Company tube power amplifier, manufactured in the USA for industrial / commercial PA or laboratory use, not consumer hi-fi. These were commonly used in institutional sound systems, factories, schools, and industrial control environments. Paramus, New Jersey. Marked 117 VAC / 60 Hz. 300 watts / 2.5 amps. Tube complement (by chassis labeling). (2) EL34 / 6CA7 output tubes. EZ81 / 6CA4 rectifier. 6AN8 driver / phase inverter. Relay socket present (industrial control use). 70V / 25V constant-voltage PA outputs. Also labeled 6.25? And 49? Taps. Designed for distributed speaker systems. Heavy-duty Bogen iron (power & output transformers). Original attached power cord. No attempt has been made to power the unit. Due to the age of this amplifier, it should be inspected and serviced by a qualified technician before use. As with most vintage tube equipment, some level of repair or restoration should be expected. Cosmetic condition shows normal wear consistent with age, including surface scratches, oxidation on laminations, and general shop wear.
