Mix two channels together for a totally unique sound With the Marshall 1987XL, you can mix the two channels together by connecting a short, screened patch lead between the second input of channel one and the first input of channel two. If you then plug your guitar into the first input of channel one, you can mix the different tonal characters of each channel for greater flexibility! New series effects loop feature The series effects loop features a true bypass switch that takes the loop completely out of the circuit, thus ensuring that the original tone isn’t compromised. The level switch allows you match the loop to either stompboxes or rack units. 1970 Marshall Super Lead 100 – 100W Guitar Tube Amplifier Head – Vintage. Up for sale, a 1970 Marshall Super Lead 100 in great condition and perfect working order. The Marshall Super Lead 100 is previously used and exhibits light signs of cosmetic wear which is normal for its age i. Presence knob missing gold cap and ohm ratings etched into the backplate. Also, the bottom of the head was tagged by previous owner with spray paint. The amplifier has been well maintained and serviced regularly. The heads produced under the JMP label from 1968 – 1972 are considered by many to be the high water mark of vintage Marshall amps. While brushed gold metal faceplates replaced the true Plexi faceplates in mid-1969, the Plexi sound remained the same and became even brighter and louder through the early 70s. 1970 Marshall JMP 50W 1987 Lead amplifier head with original Red finish. This is a stunning amp that sounds out of this world. The original red finish makes it a truly rare find. The service history is not known but there are zero issues and everything works perfectly. It currently has all vintage RCA tubes, including 3x 12AX7 preamp and 2x RCA 7207A power tubes. It has the “rosemary” signature on the inspection tag. Still has the original two-prong power cord, so the front polarity switch is still useful. There is zero static in any of the controls when adjusting. The red covering has typical minor scuffs and scrapes throughout. The handle works perfectly. The gold hardware has some light patina. All lettering on the Metal Face control panel is visible. It is missing the rear grill cover. Up for sale, a 2008 Marshall JTM45 2245 vintage reissue tube amp head in near mint condition and in perfect working order. Marshall’s meticulous recreation of their original and highly coveted 30 watt circuit, the JTM45 is a two-channel four-input affair, driving a pair of 5881 (6L6) power tubes and boasting a GZ34 rectifier. Yielding plenty of volume and punch, this pure and dynamic Marshall circuit really shines when jumpering the two channels for cascading gain and fine-tuned overdrive textures. It’s a straightforward, top-tier Marshall circuit, virtually untouched since it left the factory save for a pair of more recent, properly biased power tubes. The smooth black tolex is practically perfect save for one small scuff on the back panel and a tiny bit of wear on one back bottom corner. The plexi control plate is clean as can be with its full compliment of knobs, and the small Marshall logo and gold piping top off this spectacular JTM45 reissue.
