Vintage Magnavox Tube Amplifier Model 109C – Quad 6V6. The tube amplifier was tested in the console, and it got power. The tuner dial was not working, nor the phonograph, so we were unable to test output. We did test the tubes with a Hickok TV-7/U tube tester and will list the results below. The chassis has some stains and and some paint loss on the transformers. This was taken from the Magnavox 355H console. Please see all the photos. The tubes were tested as follows. 6V6 Tubes: (1) 68, (2) 70, (3) 69, (4) 66. Minimum value is 46. They are testing at 90-100% of full value. 5Y3 Tubes: (5) 44/40, (6) 58/52 (plate 1/plate 2). Minimum value is 40. One tube tests below 80% value. The other is around 80-90% of value. The amplifier measures 14.75 x 10 x 5.5 (with mounting tabs). The amplifier measures 20 lbs 12 oz.
