Vintage 1930's Unmarked Gibson EH-100 Style Tube Guitar Amp Amplifier, Very Rare

For sale here is a very rare and unique vintage late 1930′s Gibson EH-100 or 125 style tube amplifier. I don’t know if this is a prototype 6F6 power tubes? First made in 1935, followed shortly thereafter by the 6V6 and finally the 6L6. , or if it was built for a music store in the late 1930′s. But there is no doubt that it has the same basic components and layout of Gibson amps of the late 1930′s. Utah speaker and matching branded 200 ohm power resistor. Geib Chicago (the company that made all of the early Gibson amp, guitar & other musical instrument cases) gold embossed shield on the inside cabinet along with the Western Electric, ERPI, AT&T gold foil label. It even has the original Geib made case cover! I bought this over 30 years ago, but I never got around to restoring it until now. It was packed in a box that I forgot about actually. I repaired and replaced only what was absolutely necessary for it to work. I replaced 3 capacitors (see photos 6 & 7), a few vacuum tubes with NOS tubes, and the electrical cord (left it non-grounded as originally designed). All of the original resistors still held spec when tested. It now plays and sounds quite good, really. But, if I were going to keep it, I would probably replace the remaining 5 original capacitors, which are all 80 years old now. However, I realize that many collectors want everything as original as possible, so I’ll leave it as-is. Note for Geeks: Check out the photo of the original (still working) Stackpole Volume pot; Date of Manufacture… Just an FYI that the one (Stackpole)Volume control knob on these style of vintage amps only controls the volume for the Microphone input. The Instrument input, which makes the guitar sound better when you run through it, has no attenuation, meaning you control the output volume with the volume knob(s) on your guitar. Please examine all of the photos, which are of the actual amp for sale in this listing, carefully and ask questions if you have any. Final word, this amp is a ridiculous bargain only because it doesn’t have a Gibson logo on it, even though it rolled off the same assembly line in the 1930′s. Vintage 1930s Fairchild 219 Preamp Amp Amplifier Tube Working For Repair Restore

Pretty rare amp by one of the best sound equiptment companies around. This is a fairchild model 219 preamp. The good news, the faceplate is in beautiful shape. The bad news is someone converted this amp to a one channel amp long ago. The amp turns on and HAS output. Unit has been tested. Transformers are united transformers that i dont believe are original. Meter and standby light are not hooked up. This would be a great project to return to original or use as is for that retro steampunk look!!! I cannon confirm what is present or missing on chassis as limited information other than what is present in the pictures as not many of these amplifiers exist anymore.
