Fender Pro Junior tube amp, covered in vintage blonde tolex. This first generation Pro Junior delivers classic Fender sound in a compact size, made in USA. Two EL84 power amp tubes and two 12AX7 preamp tubes, one volume and one tone pot for a pure authentic sound. With the tone knob fully open, you can get that famous Fender crystal clear sound. Speaker has been changed for. Please note there have some been modifications so that this does run as loud as a regular Fender Pro Junior (I don’t know any more than that, but have included some circuit photos). The volume is much lower, it does not distort when the volume is 6, or above and the tone is notably a lot warmer. The internal speaker is connected into the chassis with a jack plug, so you can pull this out and use an external speaker box (for example 4 x 12 at 8 Ohms) if you want. Thank you for looking. Classic Blonde Tolex with Gold Hardware. Looks and Sounds AWESOME! The Palomino V32 Amp is a hot little single 12 combo amplifier that kicks serious butt. It’s an all-tube, 30W class A amp featuring four EL-84 tubes in the power section. Very solid construction with searing tone that will get you in the ZZ Top, AC/DC, Led Zep, Ted Nugent, Allman Bros, classic blues-rock frame of mind in an instant. Plug an LP or a 335 into the V32 combo and you won’t be able to suppress a smile when you hear this amp perform. White Tolex covering with wheat grille gives the Palomino V32 a boutique look. 4 – El-84 power tubes. 3 – 12AX7A preamp tubes. Bass, mid, treble, and presence tone controls. Great Sounding 2-Channel Amp. It has the required class A attributes such as attack sensitivity, and a really amazing clean sparkly tone in channel 1. The thing I find interesting about this amp is that it is very good at lower than bedroom levels on both channels, especially the clean channel. It still retains the sparkle with the controls barely above a whisper. Channel 2 just rips your head off with higher gain settings. The dirty channel has the best distortion I have heard from anything besides a Marshall. It can go from mild bluesy grit to heavy metal. I know it is only 30watts, but it sounds and feels every bit as loud as the 60 watter. Complete Package with Footswitch! Our Amp Tech went through this amp and serviced it. This is a Peavey Classic 50 Tweed head from the mid 90′s. It is an incredible amp. When you turn it up it gets even better. If you throw a Tube Screamer in front of the lead channel… You can get some great 70′s rock tones aka Van Halen, Tom Petty, 38 Special, Journey….. Anything Bluesy or Classic Rock from the 70′s and 80′s is right in the sweet-spot of this great amp head. The Clean channel is very American Fender-like. Perfect for SRV stuff like Riviera Paradise. I do not have the user’s manual. Peavey has it available on their website and you can download it. Original box is not included either. These Peavey Heads are extremely reliable, and durable. The Tweed tolex is in pretty good shape, although it does have a few dings and scratches which I have shown (See Photos). The tubes are still good. The Caps and pots are working fine. The FX loop works good too. I removed a lot of rust from the mirror faceplate and some of the numbers in white around the Black Chicken-head knobs has worn off… And it did leave little rust “bumps” on there as shown (See Photos). The handle is a little worn as you can see in the photos as well. Overall this Peavey Classic 50 is in good shape for an amp 20+ years old. Please look at all of the photos to evaluate it’s overall condition. Here is some more info.
