Vintage Tube Amp

This is a Bogen CHB 50 amplifier that works great. It has the original Bogen 6L6 output tubes (not sure about the preamp tubes). The pots and tube sockets were cleaned with Caig DEOX prior to listing. It has the usual paint peeling off issues, not all level controls have the original knobs, 2 of the preamp tube are missing the outer shield, 1 foot is missing and the “ON” light has been moved to the front panel, the rear flop down cover is missing, “under the hood” electronics appear to have not been repaired. Power cord needs replaced, unless you have a death wish. It powers up, lights up inside and out. I didn’t hook anything up to it to check it out, so it is as is where is, and an is what is sort of sale. There’s some house paint on it, that came off with a little effort. I think it’s latex (try Windex or ammonia) and it’s on the rear of the unit. There is some kind of glue on the front lower area where there is also a chip. I didn’t clean this up much as you can tell by the photo of the inside and the dust. Maybe if I get some spare time, I will check it out and update things. Thanks for stopping by! Vintage Bogen Challenger CHB20A Tube Amp Amplifier. Plugged in and no lights or machine noise. The dial number plates have fallen off over time. I was going to glue them back on but don’t know which knob they go on sense they are different. There is a notch on each dial to get it exact when reglueing. Comes with extra shure cable and small parts. Looks like it is missing screws and the feet have fallen off. Please see all upclose pictures for details.
