Vintage Tube Amp

Description: Vintage Admiral 5T4A mono-block tube amp with a push-pull pair of 6BQ5 / EL84 output tubes. Solid platform for a low-watt guitar amp build or recording amp. Strong transformers and a clean push-pull EL84 layout make this an excellent foundation for a great-sounding low-watt guitar amp. Powers up and plays well with strong, clean output. Serviced in the past (electrolytic & coupling capacitors replaced). See under-chassis photos for details. Push-pull EL84 / 6BQ5 output stage. Console pull / mono block format. For Guitar Use: Great candidate for a custom build. As with most console amps, you’ll likely want to modify the input, tone controls, and grounding depending on your setup. Estate Find, older couple downsizing. They said they haven’t used the stereo in years but it was magic when they did. You get the pair of Eico HF-60 power amps. See photos, what you see is what you get. I have a HK Citation IV preamp listed that was part of this stereo. I did not try to plug these in to test. Tubes will be removed and packed securely. Close serial numbers 7379, 7381.
