Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a bogen rf-35 all tube receiver… Nice condition with it’s original hardwood cabinet. All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced. It has been’scoped and works as it should. It has had the output transformers replaced with oversized appropriate units. It has 2 x 6v6gt tubes per channel. They are 4 different versions of the 6v6gt tube but work fine. Puts out about 18 watts per channel. I have been repairing and building tube guitar amp, hi-fi and recording gear for over 40 years. I have run tube amplifier repair businesses solo in San Francisco, New Orleans and now, Clarksdale Mississippi. To optimize a piece of hi-fidelity, tube guitar amp or recording gear is a passion for me. Pulled this from a 1960′s WURLITZER Model 420 Spectra-Tone Cabinet – like a Leslie with rotating speakers. Has 2 RCA 6550 Power Audio Tubes (one is bad, as shown).

Ott Wood Cabinet / Case. As the photos show, this is in good condition for its age. It has scratches and nicks.

1948 Rare Hammond HR40 Tone Cabinet Tube Amp Vintage Mono Audiophile 8-6V6 Tubes. This unit is very clean yet untested. I will include a set of the schematics for your reference. This amp is very rare as it is the original over built design and contains a separate Bass amp and Treble amp connected by the most sought after original pigtail. I have heard these amps before and they are mind blowing. They certainly can’t afford to make them like this anymore.

Used and in good working order! Jack and casters on speaker cabinet have been replaced, still has original 2×15 Celestion Greenback speakers.

Vtg Philmore 3 Tube Amplifier in Eldorado Wood Products Cabinet, NEEDS SERVICE. Has loud AC hum, will need filter cap at least prior to use. Cabinet has scratches, large chip on 1 end, other end top has slight warp & hairline. Has schematic on paper inside. All Sales Are Final. This amp is from a Baldwin Model J Tone Cabinet. I have the original tubes too. They have not been tested. I would sell the whole tone cabinet, speakers and all, if anyone locally is interested.

Vintage Scott 222C integrated tube Amplifier With Metal Cabinet. Unit was powered up slowly with a variac and it played music through all inputs. I did notice once in while I heard some static. Also the selector switch turns stiffly so will probably need lubrication. The bottom plate is not missing. I just removed it for picture taking. Very nice and clean example.
