Offering a Vintage Naval or Aircraft Communications Rack Mount Cabinet. Perfect for all of your rack mountable audio or equipment. I suspect this unit originally housed Naval or aircraft Communications equipment or something of that nature. The unit is made entirely of High Quality aluminum. It is heavily braced and reinforced yet it is extremely lightweight for it’s size. Features flaps or doors that cover the front mounting hardware. This unit is not marked with a manufacture but the twist lock knobs on the front are marked “Dzus X-486″ and the inside of each hardware flap is marked ” AN257-5 “. I believe the “An257-5″ may refer to a military communications radio model #. Overall condition is decent it shows some heavy wear from use but it is fully functioning and very solid. Mostly the wear is to the paint or finish but there is also a medium size dent on the lower right side and the handle is missing form the right side. Comes as pictured without mounting hardware. Check the pictures for a more info. Measures 22″ W x 43″ H x 18 D. Fits standard 19 rack mount gear. The unit is large and is considered a oversize 3 package. Up for sale, a 1969 Fender Bassman head with accompanying tall 2×12 speaker cabinet in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This fully serviced vintage Fender head has transitional “drip edge” aluminum trim and an early Silverface faceplate. Recently retubed and biased with a pair of Tung Sol 6L6 power tubes, the circuit has been “Blackfaced” and reverted to the original and most revered AA864 design. The amp has a clear, powerful Fender tone that’s ideal for use with guitar or bass. The perfect platform for players who use a variety of pedals, the Bassman delivers a robust and dynamic tone, and after around 5 on the Volume dial the amp starts to push into smooth, lightly compressed tube overdrive. The circuit features the original power transformer and choke produced by Fender’s primary vintage transformer supplier, Schumacher, while the output transformer is a vintage-spec replacement, also Fender-branded and produced by Schumacher. The circuit features a professional recap of the power supply with new Sprague Atoms, as well as a new bias capacitor and a few new caps in the preamp to ensure everything is operating within original factory spec. All of the original CTS pots are intact, dating as far back as early’68. A three-prong power cable has been installed as well. The chassis itself is quite clean, with a stunning Silverface faceplate, turquoise lettering, and original black witch hat knobs. The original tube chart is also present inside the head cabinet. The cabinet is loaded with the original pair of Utah-made Fender-branded speakers with immaculate black frames, original cones, and clean orange and silver foil labels on the ceramic magnets. The cab is 100% stock and sounds great, perfectly amplifying the bold, round cleans and smooth drive of the Blackfaced AA864 Bassman circuit. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with turquoise stripe are intact on the head as well. The stock corners, handle caps, and sphinx glides (feet) are also intact. The piggyback clip bars are present too, but do not connect to this vertical cab configuration. Cosmetically, the head and cab show some minor scuffs and edge wear, but as the photos can attest, this vintage Fender presents very well. Freshly retubed and recapped and reverted to the coveted AA864 Bassman circuit, this vintage Bassman head and 2×12 cab delivers the goods in an imposing, gig-worthy package. Vintage 1960′s Decca cabinet console hi-phonic phonograph record player. This is a beautiful light wood cabinet that is in nice condition considering it’s age. This features Decca phonograph dp-265, tube amp, two tweeters, and 12 speakers. Great find for someone who knows a little about how these operate and could figure out the problem it is having. There is also no sound coming out of the speakers as it should. When the player does spin you can hear it playing from the needle. More pictures available upon request. Measures approximately 26″ x 16″ x 27 inches. The size and weight of the box is what makes the cost so high but here may be other options available. This is a vintage Plush 1060-S Bass or Guitar all tube amplifier. For the most part, this amp is original with the exception of the tubes, caps or other internal components when the head was serviced. When it worked, it had a wonderful full vintage tone, unmatched by any production amp they’re putting out today. This is a very rare version 2X15 reflective cabinet. The padding is in good condition. There are some light stains on the grill cloth that could probably come out with cleaning it. The amp turns on but has weak output. The original speakers are evidently blown. All vintage tubes, preamp tubes are Telefunken ECC83 (12AX7′s), RCA 12AU7′s, tube rectifier is an RCA branded Scott tube. Some parts upgraded/replaced for improved reliability, most importantly the first multi-section cap of the power supply. The bottom metal plate was missing when I got it, so I had an aluminum plate machined to fit. I have put sliders on the bottom plate so that you can have the preamp be on your furniture without the wooden chassis. The sliders also help make the preamp more snug after sliding it into the wooden cabinet. Adjustable level trim pots for Tuner, Tape recorder, Extra (CD Player). Besides the Left and Right channel output, there is a Center channel output. There are a few marks or stains on the chassis and front panel commensurate with its age. Wooden cabinet is very basic one that fits many of the HH Scott amps including this one. But it is functional. I just slide the Model 130 in, nothing fancy. If you want to officially attach the pre-amp to the cabinet, that will be your project. All in all, this is a great tube pre-amp. It has always worked well for me (I have never used the tape recorder ins and outs). But it really sounds nice with beautiful stereo imaging. The Scott Model 130 pre-amp has an excellent reputation.
