This lot was sourced from a single estate (originally owned by a builder in Salt Lake City, UT) and contains a fantastic mix of high-end vintage audio iron, point-to-point chassis sub-assemblies, and original documentation. This collection is perfect for a tube audio hobbyist, ham radio operator, or vintage hi-fi restorer looking for premium vintage “iron” transformers and period-correct build components. Premium Vintage Transformers & ChassisStromberg-Carlson Power/Output Transformer Block: Features a heavy-duty black potted transformer stamped FCR-105 (Batch #138344) alongside a matching yellow-labeled Stromberg-Carlson component from Rochester, NY. Thordarson Choke: Model T-20C53 (8 Henries, 80 mA, 175 Ohms) mounted internally inside the main heavy-gauge brushed aluminum chassis. Stancor Interstage Transformer: Small vintage silver-cased upgrade transformer mounted on the power supply sub-panel. Multi-Tap Power Transformer: Features a primary winding block labeled with lugs 17 through 21.2. Modular Sub-Assemblies & Components3-Tube Preamplifier / Control Sub-Chassis: A standalone upper deck featuring 3 empty tube sockets (two 9-pin miniature, one octal/power format), a silver multi-section can capacitor, and 3 brass control potentiometers. Point-to-Point Circuitry: The underside of the chassis blocks feature original carbon-comp resistors, ceramic discs, an orange drop film capacitor, and rare vintage Sprague “Black Beauty” / Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors. Extra Hardware: Includes an aluminum shield/enclosure box and a loose vintage Mallory Type FP 146 electrolytic capacitor (450V). Original Vintage Heathkit ManualsHeathkit AR-14 Assembly Manual: Original 1960s manual for the Low-Cost Transistor Receiver (features the original owner’s handwritten provenance name/address on the cover). Heathkit AS-133 Manual: Original documentation for the 8 2-Way Coaxial High Fidelity Speaker system, complete with parts pictorial reference sheets.

Serial # on cabinet was T-15270 made in USA. Turns on, but sound cuts and is only low volume. Metal case has signs of oxidation, as seen on photos. Tubes not included, i used tubes from another amp to test. Please no po or apo box address.

Vintage vacuum tube amplifier chassis, believed to be possibly E. Scott, but exact model is unknown. Please review all photos carefully-photos are part of the description. ? Condition & Testing. No guarantees on functionality. Chassis populated with multiple vacuum tubes, transformers, and metal can capacitors. Tubes are included as-is, untested. Chrome and metal surfaces show oxidation, wear, and age. Power cord present (condition unknown). No obvious catastrophic damage visible, but internal condition is unknown. Appears consistent with mid-century tube audio equipment. Layout and construction resemble Scott-style tube amplifiers, but no model number confirmed. Please do your own research before purchasing. ? Needs a board and 6v6 socket has a good set of transformers it was a build my had started and could not finish because cancer took him.

Vintage Capitol Tube Amplifer (3985-01) and Control Panel (3985-04) – Hot Chassis. Please note: there is no power transformer, making this a hot chassis – appropriate care and research are required before attempting to use or service it safely. It is designed to use (4) 25L6 tubes and (3) 12AX7 tubes. The 12AX7 tubes are missing, and the 25L6 tubes are included but have not been tested. We are including the wooden face, and the unit comes exactly as shown. The metal faceplate shows some wear but is in overall good condition. All parts are clean and in good cosmetic condition. Please review all the photos carefully to fully understand the item’s condition. This is a stereo tube amplifier. The amplifier chassis measures: 12-1/2 x 6-3/4 x 5. The control panel measures 12 x 2 x 3-1/4. The wooden faceplate measures 15-5/8 x 7-3/4.
