Vintage Conrad-Johnson Model MV-50 2-Channel Tube Amplifier Tested Working. The item up for sale is. Vintage Conrad-Johnson Model MV-50 2-Channel Tube Amplifier Tested Working. The item is in Good cosmetic and working condition. Upon inspection of the device, I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use. One of the bottom legs is missing. Power indicator LED is nonfunctional. All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition. The insides were cleaned out, but there is still some dust evident. Some corrosion is present on the wire type outputs. I was able to power on the device with the attached power cord. I was able to send an audio signal to the RCA inputs with in-house media (not included). The wire-type outputs were tested working with in-house speaker (not included). I was able to hear crisp, clear audio. I was able to re-bias the tubes that are included. The tubes have been calibrated. Product is in working condition. No accessories are included. Power: 45 watts per channel RMS both channels driven into 8 ohms. From 30Hz to 15KHz at no more than 1% total harmonic distortion or. Sensitivity: 750 mv to full power. Small Siganal Distortion: Less than. Phase: Phase correct (non-inverting). Frequency response: 20Hz to 20KHz +0.5dB. Hum and noise: 90dB below full power output. Input impedance: 100K ohms. This rare Conrad-Johnson MV-125 All-Tube Amplifier is still in Near Excellent condition. The unit was very lightly used before storage in its original box, until now. The bottom right corner of the front has a small chip. The front has some light wear/stain due to age. Still looks very good overall. Has been thoroughly tested by a vintage audio technician and everything is working well. Sound is clear, powerful, and evenly balanced. Thank you for viewing! Looks, sounds & performs beautifully. The unit shows signs of use, and is clean and working properly. That being said, due to the age of this device & the uncertain nature of vintage electronics. The PV10 drew on the technology of Conrad-Johnsons path-breaking Premier Seven to achieve musical performance beyond its modest price. The line stages are zero feedback design. The PV10A revision featured a new line stage circuit based on two 12AU7s. A bit more than a year after the introduction of the PV10A, a line-stage only version was offered the PV10AL. There have been three variants of the PV10A and AL. The first had the same control set as the PV10, as listed below. The second used a new balance control, with a detented center position that was out of the circuit. The balance enable/disable switch was deleted. The final version of the PV10A and AL deleted the balance control. Aside from these changes, and associated cosmetic revisions, the three versions are all identical in circuitry. Conrad Johnson Tube Amplifier Model MV-50. This Amp is in Great Condition. All the tubes light up when powered on and amp seems to work great when connected to speakers. Test on this unit and found that all the tubes work and that the amp seems to be working good. I tested the bias adjust on all four tubes and. Could get the red led to light up on all but one bias adjust. I’m thinking that one red led may be burnt out but I don’t know. After readjustment of bias I can turn the red led off on the remaining 3. (YOU WILL SEE AS PICTURED) The two red leds on the back of the unit for the fuses both work when you take out the fuse which is from my understanding working properly. There are only two small minor scratches on the bottom of the unit. Other then that the unit is Beautiful. I will Pack Amplifier with extra care. Please take a good look at the pictures.
