Dual Speaker Hi-Fidelity 1957 Just when I thought I’d seen the best in vintage HiFi’s, along comes this fabulous 1957 Silvertone! This has been completely restored, and looks and sounds simply fantastic: with it’s cool lines, and well thought out design, this HiFi optimizes the classic stylings of the 1950′s. Here it is playing an LP by the Ray Ellis Orchestra! This HiFi was lovingly restored: The cabinet has been recovered in a fantastic 50′s red, black and white, along with new speaker grill cloth in the front. The 4 speed Syntronic record changer has been completely taken apart and redone… This will play LP’s, 78′s and 45′s automatically, you can stack the records, and each one will drop in turn, and shut off when the last record is played! The powerful 6 tube amplifier has also been rebuilt, with all new components: new power cord, all new capacitors and resistors, and gold plated rca ipod input. Has On/Off Volume, Bass, Treble Radio/Phono and Tuning controls on top. A nice added bonus is the additional RCA hookup jack in the back, which makes it possible to listen to your ipod, or other external devise through the amp and speakers! The cool looking danish modern legs unscrew, in case you want to use this on a table top. Excellent condition all around, with only a couple small dings in the Dual Speaker face plate, and a little wear to the metal changer… What a fabulous vintage Silvertone; originally built, and proudly restored in the USA! For your consideration is a 1960 Fisher Electra III stereo console. This unit appears to be in beautiful cosmetic condition for it’s age, but does display some very minor blemishes from normal use. Please feel free to examine my photos in great detail for your own evaluation. This unit is operational, both the 510-ST & the 30-A amplifiers have been serviced and updated by a local technician to bring them up to spec. The Garrard turntable does not function as it should and will require servicing. All inputs have been tested and function as they should. All tubes checked out fine with a calibrated B&K 707 Dayna-Jet tube checker. All switches and pots have been serviced with Deoxit products. Out of tolerance resistors and capacitors have been replaced with quality parts for optimal performance and safety. Utilizing a Sansui SR-838 turntable, and a I Pod, the phono and auxiliary stages performed with astonishing results! Producing a very wide ranged sound stage with impressive clarity, imaging and depth. Don’t pass up this opportunity to own a great piece of audiophile history! Thank you for your consideration! Jimmy O here, thanks for stopping by to see one of my latest restorations; Here’s a custom built RCA Aqua Hi Fidelity record player.. T his player now works , sounds and looks simply fantastic! The heart of this pl ayer f eatures an RCA 3 tube amplifier and RCA three speaker system… Has a n automatic VM record changer and custom built cabinet! Custom Vintage RCA Hi-Fidelity Record Player Restored by Jimmy O – YouTube. This beauty also comes with a convenient automatic 45 adapter, which mounts onto the inside of the cabinets lid. This adapter allows you to stack multiple 45′s, and they will all play automatically! Here’s a fun song from 19 55… Check out the 45 adapter in action! Custom RCA Hi-Fidelity Record Player Restored by Jimmy O – YouTube. One of the finest features of this player is that the cabinet has been c ustom built and covered in a beautiful a qua and g rey. You know, these terrific Tube-Powered record players lost their place in history, due to inexpensive imported solid state electronics, starting back in the 60′s. Not only did we loose the full, warm tube sound, replaced by transistors, but we also lost those beautiful wooden cabinets, covered in various fun, vibrant colors. Well, I’m happy to say I have found vintage style coverings, the same that were used back in the day! Recovering of these cabinets is a lost art, and as you could imagine, takes quite some time to complete. I chose just the right colors for this cabinet’s coverings: A fantastic 19 50′s aqua and grey… The covering is also waterproof, and is the exact same style that was used back in the day! I also decided on a black and silver speaker grill cloth , along with gold painted tapered legs. Has a Sonotone 2T cartridge and flip over stylus, so you can play either LP’s , 45′s or 78′s. This is an automatic changer, so you can stack records, and they will drop and play in turn, and the unit will shut off after the last record has been played. Comes with 4 speeds for playing 16,33,45, and 78 rpm records. The entire changer has been carefully taken apart, rebuilt, and works great! This player is powered by a po werful RCA 3 tube amplifier, which includes a 12A x7 , and 2- 50C5 outputs. The amplifier was completely redone, a nice vintage white painted chassis, along with all new components!! I’m so excited to bring these classic Hi-Fi’s back to life… You’ll have lot’s of fun listening to your LP’s on this quality built player ; the warm, full, concert like sound this produces just can’t be beat! Thanks for looking, and God bless the USA! Jimmy O Don’t forget to see my other fun Hi – Fi’s and amplifi ers curre n tly listed! There are many vintage record players out there, though it is important when purchasing any vintage electronics, to make sure the dried out or leaking capacitors in the amplifier have been replaced. A vintage record player may still work after 50 years, but the original capacitors will eventually fail, and cause serious damage to the player’s amplifier, and be dangerous to operate.
