Rare Vintage Gates Tube M-3689 Remote Control Amplifier in Working Condition. This Gates Amp is considered the cream of the crop of all the the Gates Remote Tube Preamplifiers. In House Spec UTC Linear Standard Input and Output Transformers(Gates Sourced their transformers at this period of time from UTC the round cans house UTC LS Series Transformers). Pulled from working environment. This is one of the hardest to find Gates Mixers. If you try to look them up , almost nothing comes up on it. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. Vintage Fisher X-101-D Control Amplifier with new 7591 tubes. New Electro Harmonix 7591 tubes and at least 20 caps and resistors replaced. I would still treat it as vintage but it performs great with no hum and all functions work. Controls have been cleaned with deoxit. The 6 12ax7 tubes are in good condition. It will be double boxed. New information, 3 of the 12ax7 tubes are Fisher brand, 1 is RCA, 1 is G. E and 1 i can’t read. And check my other listings , interesting stuff. Note:Unit was only powered up and all tubes seam to be lighting. I will pack this very carefully, double boxed, and remove all loose tubes for safe transport. Such equipment is dangerous even when turned off or unplugged. You shouldn’t be working inside the amp unless you know what you are doing. This 1956 Magnavox mono tube amplifier model 128E includes its matching phono preamp control and. The original L-shaped wooden control panel overlay from the Magnasonic phonograph console it came from. The big 128E amp contains four 6V6 tubes and two 5Y3GT tubes, as well as a 12AX7. The original power indicator light is still wired in. The preamp contains a single 6AV5 tube and has three knobs that control volume, treble, and bass. The bass switch also turns the power on and off. Preamp has a mono phono input and a hard-wired rca cord that connects to the main amplifier. The small 12AX7 and 6AV5 tubes are from Sylvania and Motorola, the rest are all Magnavox brand. The amp platform measures 13 inches x 11 inches x 2 1/8 inches (side mounting fins are 3/4 inch each).
