The gentleman said it was his father’s equipment and had been up there for a VERY long time! We will not test these due to their age! The tuner was the worst as it was exposed to critters. It will need a deep cleaning at the very least, as it is quite bad. Also the pre amp power cord is very dirty and a little stiff. Most of the tubes appear to be original, but there are some replacements. Also the power fuses are in perfect condition, which is a means a lot! The cosmetics should clean up quite nice from the looks of them. The tuner cover will need more than just a cleaning as shown. The photos describe cosmetics the best so p. Don’t miss out on this classic tube amp. It has been rebuilt and is working great! There are signs of its age and there are some paint speckles on the screen. It may not be the prettiest, but it is a beast and performs like one! Some information on the unit. Power output: 35 watts to 8 ohms. Frequency response: 10Hz to 40 Hz. Total Harmonic distortion: 1%. As always, these amps are wonderful but too bad I’m limited in space so I can’t keep all the gear I find! See photos for physical condition of the outside and inside of the amp. FYI, the mono switch is noisy if engaged, and the power switch can cause a small pop if not flipped quickly. They both will eventually need to be replaced but I don’t have the time. Restoration included: HIGH quality F&T electrolytic caps; new coupling caps for the driver board; replaced the selenium rectifier with a diode, and added diodes prior to the rectifier tube for added power supply stability. Swapped out the 7199s with a pair of 6UA8s from Tube Depot back in June. Probably have 10 hours on them. Tubes are not guaranteed as I don’t have a tube tester. Tubes included are 4 mixed EL-34s, and 2 6UA8s, Tung Sol GZ34. Here’s video of the actual unit in my system. Photos demonstrate the physical condition. I’m in Palm Springs, CA 92262.

Vintage Dynaco Dynakit Stereo 70 ST-70 Amplifier Tube Amp & Cage – Mullard Tubes. Fully tested and 100% functional; this amp will provide that nice warm tube sound to your home stereo system. Tubes are all excellent. The tube complement is all Mullard – 4 x EL34, 2 x ECF82 and 1 x GZ34. The speaker posts were upgraded by the original owner to banana jacks (the right jacks exhibit some wear but nothing that affects performance). In upgrading the jacks, the 16 ohm output has been disabled. The RCAs look to have also been upgraded. Cosmetically, it is overall very good exhibiting only normal wear from over the years. Includes original cage (one screw for the cage does not match). Also includes a copy of the manual/schematic.

Pair of Dynaco Mark III Amplifiers Dynakit Vintage High-Fidelity UPGRADED. This is an outstanding pair of Mk3s that are very Clean. Has a set of Svetlana Power Tubes, one is labeled McIntosh and the other straight Svetlana. The 5AR4 Rectifier is an American Made Westinghouse, and the 6AN8 is a Sylvania. True Dynaco Dynakit MK III Monoblock manufactured in Philadelphia. One of the most highly regarded vintage audio tube amplifiers ever built.

Rectifier Tube replaced with Solid state device hence there is no tube in the socket. New Output tubes- Ruby tubes -2 matched sets. Bias set to 1.56 volts.
