Vintage Dynaco Dynakit Stereo 70 ST-70 Amplifier Tube Amp & Cage – Mullard Tubes. Fully tested and 100% functional; this classic will add that warm tubey goodness to any home stereo hi-fi set up. Tubes are all excellent. The tube complement is all Mullard – 4 x EL34, 2 x ECF82 and 1 x GZ34. The speaker posts were upgraded by the original owner to banana jacks. In doing so the 16 ohm output has been disabled. The RCAs look to have also been upgraded. Cosmetically, it is overall very good exhibiting only normal wear from over the years. Includes original cage (one screw for the cage does not match). Also includes a copy of the manual/schematic.

I bought this piece all dusty and without been used for years from a garage sale a few years ago, it had one broken tube. I’m adding pictures of the old capacitors, the old tubes (two are MULLARD Fat Brown base EL34 Xf1 still good and the other two are old xf2 black base EL34 tubes), the receipt for the service and a Manual I print out.

Dynaco ST-70 unbuilt kit. Original Dynaco Mullard tubes. I will protect the amp well. Tubes will be boxed separate do forces dont smash them. Cabinet shell has a few minor bends due to its travels.

Offered is a Dynakit 70 Stereo. I know very little about this. The stereo system was left hooked up in a investment property I acquired. Seems it was kept in pretty good shape. It was still hooked up to speaker wires and a turntable when I found it. I cannot speak on its functionality. I did plug it in and all of the tubes lit up. With my lack of experience, you should figure it for parts or in need of repairs. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.

Vintage Dynakit series 70 tube Amplifier. A very clean cage and a well-cared-for piece of equipment. The Amp works as i see all tubes light up except one and that one receives power as it gets hot. It may just need a new tube and work perfectly or may need a little service i can’t really say. The person i bought it from was the original owner and was as meticulous and clean as could be. I haven’t cleaned the units outside but i think it could be cleaned to look like new from the outside if you wish. A wonderful piece of our audio history to enjoy.
