Vintage Bogen SRB-20 Tube Stereo Receiver – Classic Early 1960s American Hi-Fi. Classic American tube receiver using four 6BM8 / ECL82 output tubes delivering warm vintage hi-fi sound. Offered for sale is a vintage Bogen SRB-20 stereo tube receiver, a beautiful gold-face unit from the early 1960s featuring classic American tube audio design. These receivers are known for their warm tube sound and attractive mid-century styling. This unit was recently acquired from an estate and remains largely original and unmodified, making it an excellent candidate for restoration or servicing by a vintage audio enthusiast. Unit powers on and tubes illuminate. Audio present with very minimal hum. Volume and tone controls respond when adjusted. Overall cosmetic condition is very good for its age. The tuning mechanism does not currently rotate due to deterioration of the rubber friction wheel in the dial drive assembly. This is a common issue on vintage receivers of this era and typically an easy repair for restorers. Please review photos carefully as they are part of the description. ECL82 / 6BM8 output tubes (4).
