Signs of wear, including scuffs and scratches are visible on the unit’s body. No other parts/accessories included. The Electronic Engineering Co. The Model LR-1 was a tube-based linear amplifier designed to operate on the 10 meter amateur radio band (28-29.7 MHz). The LR-1 was a popular amplifier among amateur radio operators during its time and is still used by some today. Vintage Dynakit series 70 tube Amplifier. A very clean cage and a well-cared-for piece of equipment. The Amp works as i see all tubes light up except one and that one receives power as it gets hot. It may just need a new tube and work perfectly or may need a little service i can’t really say. The person i bought it from was the original owner and was as meticulous and clean as could be. I haven’t cleaned the units outside but i think it could be cleaned to look like new from the outside if you wish. A wonderful piece of our audio history to enjoy. As such, it does not come with any guarantee– implied or written. Due to its age, it would be surprising if it did not need some updating to parts. It comes with its tubes (untested) and a power transformer that plugs into it. The transformer has some cut wires that went to the projector. It does not have a power plug. There is a speaker plug on the side. The amplifier does not rest flatly – part of it is at a different height, and there is a raised lip on one edge. Cosmetically it is i good condition with light wear.
