RARE Vintage Fisher 800-C Stereo Receiver from 1964! New LED dial lamps (original lamps are working and included, they were just dim). Stereo beacon and tuning strength lights work. Very powerful 75 watts still has sticker! All Fisher tubes except 2 RCA output tubes. Cleaned all pots and switches and tube sockets. Has all knobs with cover plates. Very sensitive FM tuner. Vintage 1965 Fisher PROFESSIONAL SERIES X 100C 7868 Tube Amp for REHAB! S & PROBABLY CAPS ORIGINAL DAMAGED COVER INCLUDED IF YOU WANT IT. VERY NICE FIND – doesn’t seem to be messed around with and interior is surprisingly clean. No tubes – BUT thought of one simple test that will be important to a new owner! Checked for high voltage on the power supply filter cap & here’s what I got. Looks pretty impressive to me and it would be safe to assume that the (expensive) power transformer is okay. I’m sure that the amp will require or at least benefit from new caps (standard procedure for all old tube amps). No further testing will be done by me – I’m not that talented and don’t want to mess up a perfectly good project for someone. Used antique electronics item. Jump on this opportunity! Both units are still in decent physical condition. There are some marks and scratches, but no dents or damage. All tubes are intact and working well.
