Vintage Tube Amp

Up for sale here is this single vintage Eico HF-20 tube amplifier, with serial number 7973. This came from a local tube guy, and came to me just as you see it. This is in fantastic condition, and includes all the tubes, the top cage/cover, and the bottom cover/feet as well. The bottom is missing a few screws, but has most of them. This is in really good physical condition, but here are some things to note. Light overall wear, some minor scrapes/scuffs. Knobs are all there and are in nice shape. Very light rust on transformers. Tubes are the ones that I got it with, and are untested. The outputs are a very mismatched pair–one is a 5881 and the other is a Sylvania 6L6GC. Cord is attached and seems fine. Circuitry may or may not be original–I don’t see anything modern, but I don’t know if this was ever updated. I will guarantee the transformers to be good. Eico HF20 tube amp. Amp powers on and has good sound from the different inputs and 8ohm speaker output, with a slight hum heard when nothing is being played, and slightly “scratchy” knobs. Unit could probably use some service as it has been sitting for many years, and due to this like any vintage electronic: could become defective at any point. Unit has no apparent substantial damage beyond some corrosion in various places and dust here and there. Please refer to the photos for a further evolution of condition.
