Serial number are 1560 & 1563. The item is excellent condition for it age, some scratches on transformer, face plate is clean (see picture). The amplifier is working perfectly, only one resistance have been changed other parts is original. The amplifier comes with 8 Reissue Gold Lion KT77 tubes, 4 RCA-6DJ8 & 2 RCA-6CG7 (all check good on my TV7 D/U). One inside meter cover was missing. Unit comes with 2 original cage & paperwork. I bought this amp up slowly with my variac when it started playing there was no hum, just great sounding music. I listened for about 10 minutes and shut it down. Before I shut the amp off I use the bias switch to set the bias on the output tubes to the proper line and that adjustment worked great. This amplifier makes it easy to set the perfect bias. The new owner should do this from time to time, or whenever you change tubes. This amplifier is not mint. There are some scratches that show it is 60 years old. Please use the many pictures provided to judge for yourself regarding the condition. They have used tubes and while they do work these used tubes should be replaced with good quality new tubes. Please consider these tubes as a free gift with the amplifier and as such have no value connected with the cost of the amplifier. While this amplifier is working and sounds great I have no idea if it will work for another 60 years or 60 minutes. Vintage electronics like this that have never been serviced can stop working. Before you consider using this amplifier on a regular basis you should have it checked out by a qualified person. All old capacitors, tubes, filters, and resistors should be checked before regular use. The answer is this unit can always be rebuilt, but once rebuilt it can never be all original like this again. Many collectors of vintage audio only want all original units like this, that have never been changed and are just like they left the factory. Some audio guys may want to rebuild this unit themselves using certain parts that they prefer. Many just collect rare audio items like this and never plan to plug them in, and they want only all original electronics. I will leave those choices to the new owner.
