Vintage McIntosh MC30 Tube Amplifier Black. In working condition, sounds fine, no hums, buzzing, or static noise.

For sale is a McIntosh MC275 power amplifier that uses 6550, 12AU7, 12AX7, 12AZ7, and 12BH7A tubes. Only essential parts were changed to make sure the amplifier is working as it should. Aside from that, to my knowledge, it has many original capacitors and parts.

McIntosh MC240 power amplifier in beautiful condition. This is the earliest version of this amplifier released in 1960. The amplifier has been completely restored with new power supply, capacitors, and resistors by Fuchs Audio in New Jersey. The amp comes with 4 NOS GE 6L6GT power tubes, 2 NOS RCA 12BT7 tubes, and JJ 12AX7 tubes. The amp is warm sounding with incredibly deep bass and clarity, even by modern standards.

This unit has undergone an extensive electronic restoration here at Novalux Stereophonic. The unit has also received a fresh set of tubes. There is a McIntosh clinic sticker on the front of the unit which has been left in place for historical context.

Unit does not power up.

The amp is in great condition! All of the tubes look like they should and the metal is pretty clean with only some light pitting on it. See pictures for more and feel free to ask any questions! I’ve also included an invoice from an authorized McIntosh repair shop and the man who worked on it had worked for Mcintosh for 30+ years and knew them very well. The repair was minor and the goal was to have it work for another 40 years. The customer stated fault at the bottom of the document is misleading. There aren’t any problems at all with the power supply. This comment was made to the repair guy because that’s what my co-worker said happened to it. My diagnosis was unfounded and a guess. It ran like a champ when I used it! Also, the owner’s manual included isn’t the original but rather a copy of it that I have used.

Here’s a vintage McIntosh C4 preamplifier. 3x Mullard IEC by Tungsgram (Hungary) ECC83/12AX7s included. Tested and sounds great. No hum or any issues. Looks excellent with original wooden cab. A Pair Of Vintage Mclntosh Mc30 Tubes Amp. Original working condition, with mclntosh power tubes by GE and instructions manual as well. I was set them up with my mclntosh c20 and Tannoy gold 15, sounds wonderful. All power tubes been tested very strong.
