Vintage Dynaco ST-70 Dynakit Stereo 70 Tube Power Amplifier It is untested – NO TUBES. THE TUBES ARE NOT INCLUDED.. I bought this to use myself but have since bought a pair of mkiv. And then they stopped working. There is a burnt out resistor and another one that is cracked. I bought the resistor to replace it but never got round to it. I understand a lot was done by way of modifications including the meters and the individual test points for each tube and adjustments. It’s a beautiful amp and I’m sure it will give the new owner good sound once fixed up. I’m including the new and old resistors and also the old driver board. This Dynakit ST-70 amp is fairly dirty from sitting in storage for so long. I have no idea when it was last used. It’s been modified with some gold RCA connectors, and there may be more mods under the chassis. Please note that the EL34 tubes that are included are not Mullards, but rather National that claim to have been made in Germany. My guess is that they were made in Russia. No GZ34 is included, nor is a cover. This one will make a great parts unit or candidate for restoration. This piece of equipment is believed to have not been used in years (possibly decades). It will almost certainly need some level of service. This may include: replacement of electrical components (such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, tubes, etc), cleaning of controls, alignment, and so forth.
