Pair of Vintage AMI Tube Monoblock Amplifiers 20 watt very nice working. Each amp has 2- 12AU7A TUBES , 1- 5U4G TUBE, 1- 6L6A TUBE AND One tube that I cannot make out the size of 5u4g. Both of these amps work great. They have been modded to have only the front control for volume. Other controls here are set up not to work. Anyone looking at these should know what they are. Number 6 is positive and Number 8 is negative for speakers. These are in excellent cosmetic condition. Vintage Bell & Howell PP 25L6 MonoBlock Tube Amp from Filmosound 179, Amplifier. Condition is Unknown, but they all look good. I have four available. Check my other auctions if you want more than one! You had better know what you are doing when working on these! I generally bring these up on a variac very slowly to re-form the caps and often find them to need very little to make them functional. Tweak the circuit to your personal taste, of course! Includes all tubes, but not a power cord… You’ll really need to convert these to a 3-prong grounded cord for safety anyway! The date codes on the power transformers read 138613 and on the output transormers we have 138613 snd 138544. The serial numbers are 121142 and 122467. We take all of this to indicate a production year of 1946. Pulled from two projectors that were removed from service and placed in storage. Both fuseholders are damaged, one of the photocell tubes has tape on it and there may be other flaws that we did not notice.. This is the only pair on the market – don’t let it get away!
