This listing is for a pair of Allen Organ 75 mono amplifiers. These amplifiers were part of a tube audio collection and were working when they were put on the shelf some time ago. They have been set up for home use with RCA inputs. The 12AY7s have been bypassed to the EF86 driver. Simply add 6550 and EF86 tubes and they are ready to use. The 6SN7 tubes are included. This listing is for a Pair of Vintage McIntosh MC-30 Tube amplifiers Model Type A-116-B. The amplifiers are in good working condition and were serviced about a year ago by a highly qualified technician who changed the can electrolytic capacitor on one of them and changed whatever else either of them need to get them in good working order. Cosmetically they are in very nice condition with the one on the left in a little better condition. The better condition one has very minor chrome blemishes and almost no pitting/rust. The second one has minor pitting and rust. Deatails of the cosmetics can be seen in the pictures. Some of the electronic part/s may continue for another 50 years without need of replacement and some electronic part/s may fail a few days after you start using the item. Both units still look very good. One of the black transformer boxes has a small dent in the back. Both sound fantastic, no hums or buzz. Authenticaps can caps were replaced new. Vintage PAIR Dynakit Mark Mk IV Mono Tube Amps Amplifiers UNTESTED Minus 2 Tubes Looks complete except for 2. Tubes on one of the amps. Info found on the web. The Mark IV Amplifier uses a circuit arrangement based on that of the Dynakit’s Mark II and Mark III which have become world famous for superior quality while essentially simple and trouble free. The new 7199 tube is used as a pentode high gain voltage amplifier directly coupled to a cathodyne phase inverter. All parameters are adjusted for minimum distortion. This type of phase inverter has the unique advantage that its operation is independent of tube ageing so that no adjustments are required in maintaining optimum performance. An internal capacitive feedback loop balances the phase inverter at the highest frequencies, and the arrangement provides accurately balanced driving signals to the output tubes, which are EL-34′s operated well below their maximum ratings. The output tubes use a fixed bias arrangement which is set through use of Dyna Biaset (patent pending) which provides optimum linearity of the tubes and minimizes the effects of unbalanced components. The connection of the output tubes includes a small percentage of screen loading which improves the regulation of the output stage and makes it comparatively uncritical of load impedance. Power output: 40 watts into 8 (mono) (EACH). Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz. Total harmonic distortion: 1%. Input sensitivity: 1.3V. Signal to noise ratio: 90dB. Speaker load impedance: 4 to 16.
