It has been tested to power on. The different elements move and spin. We are not expert enough to know the exact working condition beyond that. Here’s an old Newcomb 4 speed record player that uses a tube amp. As you can see in the video, it’s in “working condition”, but what does THAT, really mean? Let’s take a look! Yes, the turntable turns and it plays music, BUT the variable speed control, again, works but may be a bit slow at max speed. The amp seems to be working “OK”, but there’s a minor hum so you should re cap at least the filters. I have no idea the exact condition of the 2 needles, but that was a 33 1/3 you heard playing, and the flip over 78 RPM needle is also there. I’m SURE there are some other adjustments, etc, that will need to be done on this unit. Cosmetically, it could use some detailing (AKA cleaning) inside and out. The hardware could use a really good wire brushing to get rid of the surface rust. There are probably a few cleaner ones out there that may turn up someday, but plenty more are worse off. At least you know, for starters, anyway, this one wants to work! It may or may not work at all when you get it!

Shows age, wear, patina, dings and scratches. Looks like the hardware is here to put back on track and insert into wall. Very rare and unique mid century modern audio equipment. Preowned vintage condition with signs of use and age wear, NOTE this is a vintage glass tube amp model, so please do some homework on this unit to make sure this is something you want to get into, this unit could use some work to dial it in to perfection, loud hum do to age issues with capacitors or ground issues, auto play does not work as it should with albums, record player, plays as it should with the original what seems to be cartridge/needle, plays 4 speed no issues, sounds pretty good, all knob controls function as they should, power cord not original, does work, overall really fun unit here, just trying to pass it on to the right user, any other questions please ask, will answer to the best of my knowledge.

This Little Powerhouse Player was amazing for 1950. A wonderful Sounding Player that millions of People have enjoyed throughout the Decades. With Great feathers like single wheel drive, Bearing Platter (increased from 5 bearings to 9). Radio Tube, Amplifier with a 4″x6″ Alnico style Speaker. American engineering will handle its seamless mechanical operation of record stacking up to a Dozen 45 Records. All aspects of this Player has been addressed. Completely Disassembled, Cleaned Repaired, repainted, And or Rebuilt. Painstakingly reassembled calibrated, adjusted, Tested and Tested again. I can’t think of a better use of American technology to bring back to life, for people to enjoy for the next eighty years.

This machine plays great! Includes some reels from a local Texas country musician. We bought several old electronics like record players, tape decks ect from this estate. Every was well taken care of to say the least. Great machine and sounds awesome. Includes original mic as well. Hate to see it go but definitely something a musician would enjoy more than I. USA Made Dual 6V6 powered tube amp turntable. The knobs are noisy, would need to clean the pots to remedy this. The two front indicator lights don’t light up, so the bulbs would need replaced if desired. All original, Everything works great. Has a sing-a-long microphone. The 4VC82 model number is the closest I could get.
