Up for sale one–Vintage GE RP-2160A Portable Trimline Phonograph 4 speed Tube Amp Record Player. Be sure to scroll down on pics for all visual info. Preowned vintage condition with signs of use and age wear, NOTE this is a vintage glass tube amp model, so please do some homework on this unit to make sure this is something you want to get into, this unit could use some work to dial it in to perfection, loud hum do to age issues with capacitors or ground issues, auto play does not work as it should with albums, record player, plays as it should with the original what seems to be cartridge/needle, plays 4 speed no issues, sounds pretty good, all knob controls function as they should, power cord not original, does work, overall really fun unit here, just trying to pass it on to the right user, any other questions please ask, will answer to the best of my knowledge.

This Little Powerhouse Player was amazing for 1950. A wonderful Sounding Player that millions of People have enjoyed throughout the Decades. With Great feathers like single wheel drive, Bearing Platter (increased from 5 bearings to 9). Radio Tube, Amplifier with a 4″x6″ Alnico style Speaker. American engineering will handle its seamless mechanical operation of record stacking up to a Dozen 45 Records. All aspects of this Player has been addressed. Completely Disassembled, Cleaned Repaired, repainted, And or Rebuilt. Painstakingly reassembled calibrated, adjusted, Tested and Tested again. I can’t think of a better use of American technology to bring back to life, for people to enjoy for the next eighty years.

Sound Input is a single RCA Mono port. Comes with single Mono RCA cable and AC power cord. This portable PA tube amp is in very good fully working condition, and looks great for its age, minor scratches here and there on the exterior case, the unit has an overall patina which is shown in the photos. The POTS work well and do not seem to generate much if any scratching sounds when turned. Unit has been fully tested, comes with original JBL speaker, all parts seem to be original. When using Vacuum Tubes will glow and generate a slight burnt dust smell, but is safe is cooling vents are not blocked from cool air flow. Would make a great functional Movie/Photo Prop. Also a great practice amp. Uses 120V AC at.
