Vintage Rauland 2120 Tube Amplifier Pa Hifi 12ax7 6L6 EL34. I repainted the cabinet as it was starting to rust. Plugged in the amp and it made a humming noise so I quickly unplugged it. This is a beautiful and very unusual mono amplifier and preamplifier made by Rauland. The Sams date is 1954. It has very large transformers and is heavy; very high quality output transformer. I put it on my bench and checked it out. I replaced several capacitors and the line cord.. It uses push pull 6L6 tubes in the output. The preamplifier is in the book enclosure. It allows you to set the cross over frequency, has both treble and bass controls, and a roll off control. It is a high quality set. It delivers more bass than I expected from an amp of the 50s. You will be the only one on the block who has this rare high quality set.
