Vintage Bogen SRB-20 Tube Stereo Receiver – Classic Early 1960s American Hi-Fi. Classic American tube receiver using four 6BM8 / ECL82 output tubes delivering warm vintage hi-fi sound. Offered for sale is a vintage Bogen SRB-20 stereo tube receiver, a beautiful gold-face unit from the early 1960s featuring classic American tube audio design. These receivers are known for their warm tube sound and attractive mid-century styling. This unit was recently acquired from an estate and remains largely original and unmodified, making it an excellent candidate for restoration or servicing by a vintage audio enthusiast. Unit powers on and tubes illuminate. Audio present with very minimal hum. Volume and tone controls respond when adjusted. Overall cosmetic condition is very good for its age. The tuning mechanism does not currently rotate due to deterioration of the rubber friction wheel in the dial drive assembly. This is a common issue on vintage receivers of this era and typically an easy repair for restorers. Please review photos carefully as they are part of the description. ECL82 / 6BM8 output tubes (4). EZ81 rectifier. 12AX7 / ECC83. 6AU6. Additional tubes in tuner section. Tubes appear to be vintage and include respected brands. Front panel presents very nicely with original knobs and clear dial window. Chassis is clean with original transformers and components visible. Scott Stereomaster 340 Receiver. Up for sale is a A rare used 1963 H. Scott Stereomaster 340 vacuum tube MPX receiver. All tubes were tested and they are good to N. The original four Amperex 7591 tubes test excellent at 8,500-9,250 umhos. Controls work but there is switching crackle in some. The unit is in excellent cosmetic shape with a few small marks that are shown in the images. The plastic tuning dial is missing. With the bottom cover off, everything inside looks original to the factory design. This unit does partially work but will need work to bring it back to factory spec. I have included a fairly hard-to-find owners manual and schematic for this unit. This is a highly sought after integrated tuner with great build quality. With some TLC this will make the centerpiece of a fantastic stereo system for someone looking to explore tube audio. The unit is very heavy and will be packed safely. I will pull some of the tubes and pack them in tube boxes.

Has some light wear. Missing one knop cap cover (as pictured). Lights are nice and bright.
