Dynaco Dynakit Stereo 70. The price includes the Genalex tubes. I’ll negotiate more if the tubes are removed. Therefore, the connection of a loudspeaker to the amplifier does not deteriorate its performance or listening quality.

Offered is a Dynakit 70 Stereo. I know very little about this. The stereo system was left hooked up in a investment property I acquired. Seems it was kept in pretty good shape. It was still hooked up to speaker wires and a turntable when I found it. I cannot speak on its functionality. I did plug it in and all of the tubes lit up. With my lack of experience, you should figure it for parts or in need of repairs. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.

Dynaco (Dynakit) Stereo 70 (ST-70). Vintage Stereo tube amplifier. Serviced: cleaned and vacuumed chassis, cleaned all controls and switches, and jacks. Tested all tube outputs. Installed replacement 7199 tube. Replaced fuse, connection at fuse holder and set bias. The Dynakit Stereo 70 is a complete dual 35 watt power amplifier kit which offers the highest possible fidelity, at low cost and in a compact arrangement. Tested, Serviced and upgraded. It has been kept as stock as possible, with only the parts needed to perform its best being changed. Comes with Brand new Matched Quad of TAD EL34-STR REDBASE Power Tubes. Comes with two Speaker cables, Canare 4S11 with small audioquest spades on one end and Banana plugs on the other. This is a pretty well cared for ST-70 that has been serviced multiple times over the years, including just recently and sounds very nice. In addition to the TAD EL34′s it Includes 4 rather old. Other tubes include 2 GE 7199′s. Rectifier has been rewired out of circuit and replaced by solid state rectification, although the tube remains in the socket for looks and receives heater voltage to light it up. All capacitors have been updated. Coupling capacitors and others were replaced with high quality polypropylene film caps for the best sound quality possible. All filter caps have been replaced. Checked and replaced as needed. The chrome has some small pitting and small rust spots but it’s in very good shape compared to most ST-70′s. Quite a lot of solder joints were redone to keep it as trouble free as possible. Cage is in very nice shape.
