Vintage Tube Amp

Had this for many years. Hooked up a few guitar cables inside to test a long time ago. Works, but would need a pro to do a real conversion.

Hello and thanks for looking. For your consideration is a 1950′s (If I’m not mistaken) Bell Model 2122-C 6V6 push pull tube amplifier. I bought this a few years back from a radio collector who essentially displayed it on a shelf with a same era tube tuner. This is currently in working condition and playing a CD on the test system pictured. Please note I have only had this hooked up a few times since owning it. The 5Y3GT tube was replace several months ago but that is the only service I have performed. The controls operate smoothly. I have noticed gain drops off the higher the bass is turned up past two. Not sure if that is by design or not. Cosmetically this Bell amp is in extremely nice cosmetic condition. The internals are very clean and I’m happy to add more pictures and answer questions. That being said, I can’t make any guarantees that internals are to original factory specifications or that this doesn’t need servicing. Honestly I would recommend it.

A copuple are labeled for the insitutions they were installed including Loyola seminary. They all show some light wear and yellowing. Speaker output jacks are on the side of the amp, the Input jacks are 2 modern ones and 1 vintage one still. Fully ready to use as a guitar amp. The amp is missing a tube and due to it’s age, will most likely need repair. I have not attempted to plug in and turn on the amp to avoid potentially damaging it. The dials on the meter turn mechanically in sync with the turning of the knobs. Internal electrical components appear to be intact and in good condition.
