For sale is a rare set of Quad II / Quad 22 tube amplifier and preamplifier from England in as-is untested condition. I did not attempt to power this up since I don’t have transformer. Please note these are 220-240V. You will be getting exact units that are in the picture. They are missing tubes as shown, and the preamp is also missing 1 button cover. The amp are fairly close match serial #74508 and #74835. The preamp has the cable to connect to the amp, but is missing the power cord. All unit are in fair physical condition given their age, they do have scuff, some pittings/rust on all of the chassis. Many of these items will have issue that is unknown to me, or should be expected for equipment of vintage nature. All items should be inspect by qualify service man and get check out before long term use. In certain case where I can test the item, I will report the extend of my test and the result. Again please expect that the unit may have more issue than what I stated here, and no return will be accept for that reason. Please study the picture carefully as they are part of the description. If you don’t see something in the picture they are not included. In most case some screws may be missing from the back cover, or bottom plate. This is a used set of Quad II/ 22 in as-is condition. Vintage electronics contain 20-50 years old parts (belts, rubber parts, caps, etc) that while may work at the time I tested the unit, can fail at any given time. It can be a few weeks, months, or years before it fails. Service is recommend since I have not tested these unit fully, and their working condition is unknown. For sale is a pair of Dukane 1A435 mono tube amplifier. No actual model found on the amp, but my research indicate these are the model 1A435 (please correct me or double check yourself if you have doubt). I assume if you are looking at these you know what they are. They are very hard to come by now, especially in a pair as nice as this. Tube are mixed of vintage brand, with some tungsol OPT I believe. Vintage Dynaco ST-70 Dynakit Stereo 70 Tube Power Amplifier It is untested – NO TUBES. THE TUBES ARE NOT INCLUDED.. I bought this to use myself but have since bought a pair of mkiv. And then they stopped working. There is a burnt out resistor and another one that is cracked. I bought the resistor to replace it but never got round to it. I understand a lot was done by way of modifications including the meters and the individual test points for each tube and adjustments. It’s a beautiful amp and I’m sure it will give the new owner good sound once fixed up. I’m including the new and old resistors and also the old driver board.
