Up for sale is a Vintage 1984 Marshall JCM 800 Tube Amp Head Mk-2. Master Model 50W Lead Mod 2204. This item is used and in good cosmetic condition. Turns on and glows but has not been recently tested because I do not have speakers to hook up to it. Gentle rusting to the rivets. The cable has been glued to another to extend it. Has initials painted on the side: “JG”. Previously owned by Joey Gaydos Jr. Who played a leading role as Zack Attack in the movie School Of Rock with Jack Black. VINTAGE McINTOSH MC240 TWO-CHANNEL TUBE AMPLIFIER. Last used regularly nearly fifteen years ago, this superb stereo amp was replaced when my then new, low efficiency speakers needed a larger amp. When recently brought on-line again (slowly, with a variable power supply, because of the caps) it again sounded great. But now I have moved and must sell it. This is a vintage unit, original and not mint. However, it is in very fine condition (examine pics carefully). There are some fine scratches on the chrome but no rust and no notable damage to the black paint. As can be seen in the pics, the printing is clear and in fine state. This is especially made evident in the photo of the back of the unit. The lettering on the front, with all the connectors, is crisp. The latter, having not been used in a while, could use a good cleaning. The bottom plate does have some scuff marks. This is a very fine looking example of this audiophile quality amplifier. Also, this Mc240 comes with the McIntosh tube cage, which comes up to about the top of the transformers and is in excellent condition. I have had the unit for over 25 years. During that time, it has never been rebuilt or modified, except for tube swaps. To my knowledge the same is true for the period before I bought it from the original owner. This MC240 has 4 6L6GC output power tubes and the usual 12AX7, 12AU7, and 12BH7 drivers. The unit is already wrapped, has been placed into a wooden crate, which in turn is in a heavy-weight, corrugated container with ample cushioning. Tubes have been removed, wrapped, and labeled so as to minimize physical shock during transport.
